Attribute: Earth. Alignment: Neutral Evil. Traits: Male, Servant, King, Fairy, Dragon, Earth or Sky, Neutral Evil, Weak to Enuma Elish, Threat to Humanity.

Class Skills:

Magic Resistance: A. Vortigern is immune to magecraft of Rank A and below, rendering him untouchable by modern magi and even able to resist the effects of a command spell. The level of this skill is a result of Vortigern’s draconic nature, and will be nullified against mysteries, phantasms, and artifacts meant to slay dragons.

Madness Enhancement: D-. Reasoning skills are still present, and mutual understanding with Vortigern is possible. However, he will never accept the Saber Artoria. He is also incapable of feeling pain.

Riding: C+. Vortigern is able to ride beasts of all sorts, and would be able to skillfully operate modern vehicles just fine after skimming over a manual. However, his aversion to mankind would probably prohibit him from doing anything like that, so he usually sticks to animals such as horses. Because he himself is the incarnation of the White Dragon of Albion, the apex of dragonkind, he is capable of riding dragons regardless of the rank of this skill.

Personal Skills:

Vile Charisma: B-. The bearing of one who has been a tyrant for their entire life. At this rank it is possible to lead a nation, but due to Vortigern’s harsh rule it does not give a boost to morale. Vortigern was originally the treacherous warlord of a small tribe, but rose to the seat of king after resolving to unify and suppress Britain. He invited the Saxons to the island and with his tribe laid siege to Londinium, crushing the city and then killing Uther Pendragon, his own brother, in single combat. Vortigern successfully united the country and plunged it into a hell known as the Dark Ages that lasted over twenty years, with the goal of suppressing the coming Age of Man.

Of the Island: C A skill that signifies Vortigern as offspring of the Isle of Britain and as something more than a regular human. Though not to the extent of his niece, Morgan le Fay, or his brother Uther, Vortigern possesses a portion of the cursed black mana of Britain. He is capable of manipulating this magical energy despite not being a practitioner of magecraft, and often uses it to augment his attacks or overwhelm his opponent with torrents of it. In addition, as he is a device meant to be a method by which Britain commits suicide, he deals super-effective damage to things born from Britain.

Sight to the Border: EX Vortigern drank the blood of Albion and became, in part, the incarnation of one of its aspects: the White Dragon. Albion is the dragon who oversees the border, and so every now and then Vortigern was able to see a glimpse of a similar sight. The horizon line between the heavens and earth, light and dark, life and death, hope and despair, that led to an everdistant land. What scenery did Vortigern behold, and what did it mean to him? That answer is only known to the king.

Noble Phantasm:

Metamorffosis Vortigern. Type: Anti-Unit (Self). Rank: EX. O Britain, Fall into Hell. Transformation into the Evil Dragon Vortigern, the embodiment of Britain’s desire for suicide, by way of the blood of the Border Dragon Albion that he consumed. Vortigern is incarnated as a colossal black dragon capable of consuming any kind of light, even the flame of the Holy Sword. Vortigern’s darkness grows stronger in proportion to whatever it faces, and a mere roar calls forth fell clouds that blot out the sky. His strength becomes something akin to a great Calamity (厄災)— as if the opponent is facing down all of Britain itself. STR, END, and MA are all increased to A+++++, but AGI lowers to D. This transformation lasts 100,000,000 rounds. A final boss-type transformation like the Demon King (魔王) transforming to fight the hero in an RPG after having his first form beaten. But this time, half the world won’t be offered to you!
