these teenagers and their dog are trying ruin our money laundering business. no tony put the gun down were doing this the old fashioned way. were gonna dress up as monsters and scare them
#ok I'm sure a thousand other people are saying it but half the time it's not career criminals doing these plots#it's like...a normal person#trying to...I dunno - smuggle something or do some illegal salvaging or counterfeiting or whatever#and the whole 'pretending to be a monster' thing is kind of genius#because if you kill someone? even if the body isn't found#disappearances will eventually rack up#you'll get the wrong kind of attention#instead you scare a couple of curious trespassers and they run screaming for the hills#ranting about a monster#either the cops won't take it seriously#or they believe it's a monster too - now the cops are actively trying to keep people away#but the Scooby Gang? they're literally the only collection of weirdos on earth that go looking for stuff like that#and yanno? considering how many times Shaggy and Scooby have seen a monster un-masked and they STILL believe#in the next spooky tall tale they hear?#it's kind of nice they haven't gotten jaded#Scooby Gang#Scooby Doo#Crack

#It really is fascinating that a thing that almost anyone can be summoned for#Jury Duty#isn't a thing that citizens are educated about. why would that not be covered in a basic civics class?#I think this is deliberate - or at least an oversight by-design#legal knowledge is often exclusively reserved of people who go to law school#whether they go on to be attorneys or prosecutors or judges (but not always)#which makes sense - it's specialized knowledge! it takes years to learn!#But since this knowledge is monopolized - you as someone who must live in this world are governed by laws and procedures#you are completely ignorant of - you don't know what questions to ask#you don't even know HOW to word your question in a way that makes the court pay attention to you#so of course - you'd be more willing to believe a prosecutor or what a police officer says on the stand#(cops' testimonies being regarded as highly credible in court despite their being notoriously unreliable)#so in other words#and be CAREFUL#educate yourself#Juries#American Justice System#Courts of Law#ACAB#ICE#ICE Agents
