Forbidden Fruit Mask of Golden Lies is an expert at his trade- a cunning manipulator, courtier, and killer, all in the name of his mistress, the Lover. Nearly assassinated and thrown to his death, Mask's luck comes through when he is found by a strange woman, the Grave Goods Gardener. Though he never sees her face beneath the stark cow skull that hides her face, she brings him home and nurses him back to health, and he finds himself growing curious at her isolated farm life, dutifully growing crops and giving sustenance to the dead. Mask is anxious to return to his own duties, for he's sure his mistress will be irked by his failure, and he wonders if this Gardener could be a tool he could bring his lady to make up for it. Though she keeps her head down, she's a woman of power and skill, and the Lover would find use for her.

But Gardener's fruit, grown and tended to soothe the fears of lost ghosts, begins to work its magic on Mask as well. Though he's used to playing the games of the wealthy and powerful, he begins to wonder if a life of calm, serene freedom might be more alluring than the life he lost...

My first Attacks for Art Fight 2025! I'm using this year to practice emotes and chibis since my time for it is short while I work on completely clearing out the SRS bizness art queue so I can focus on studying for my A+ certification.

First up, we have @kessinder's Hesper, a Twilight Caste from the Exalted setting with a most pleasing color scheme for my sensibilities.

Next is @shiftingpath's Glittering Blade, who I could not resist makeing a flirt emote for. ;-*. Also from the Exalted TTRPG setting.

(Why, yes, many of these will likely be for Exalted because I am very, very bias. Show me all your Exalted characters!)

classic wuxia move is someone lunges directly at you with their sword or spear and you fling yourself directly backwards away from it and then the two of you glide through the air in slow motion for like twenty meters with the point of the blade fixed six inches from your chest the entire time, uh until you hit a wall or spin up into the air or a third party intervenes I mean I don't know what happens if you pull the move-backwards-in-a-straight-line trick in an open area, do the two of you just keep scrolling across the landscape indefinitely?
