The First Visit

Something shifts as soon as the heavy doors slam shut behind them, she can feel it in the air. Her grip on the rabbit's damp fur tightens, and she doesn't realize she's almost wringing it dry until she feels the water seeping through her gloved fingers. They weren't just in some abandoned house.

They were Somewhere Else.

I don’t normally do fanart, but a friend of mine wanted me to draw Monster Kid. I... took awhile, and ended up adding Frisk, and taking a stab at drawing a proper background to make up for it.

I slightly tweaked Lila’s design! Nothing major, but hopefully this will help me draw her more consistently.

I almost forgot I switched the Meet-A-Character date to today... Yeesh, every time I draw this character she ends up looking wildly different (which almost makes sense with her character, I suppose), but I think this might be the design I stick with.

Icebound Clocktower Update

The House in the Woods

Rain beats down on the old house, threatening to wash what faint remains of blue that was still stubbornly clinging to the walls. It's almost hidden among the trees.

But not quite.

A child, half-hidden under an umbrella so colorful it seems to give off its own light, sloshes through mud and leaves in her red galoshes, trying to follow the sound of chimes tossed about in the stormy wind. She presses on with a curiosity to eager to be deterred by the shake of leaves or the cold slithering its way around her raincoat. She has never heard any such sound around these woods.

And then she spots it.

I Swear This Thing is Cursed

So as soon as I try to get back into the swing of things it feels like something around me has to knock me back out again.

I’ve been in Florida with no access to the internet, but on the other hand, it was good to get out? Beaches were fun. I got to see an old friend.

Just wish I wasn’t so tired afterwards...

Anyway, I’m gonna finally try queueing up posts so that doesn’t blindside me again.
