SHE WAS 14!!!!!!!!!!!! how messed up is that they treated her like this. pls i will start online riots (gotta stay safe <33) if she doesn’t get her solo comic book with a redemption arc cause u know, she actually deserves it cause like she was never even given a chance before, and was mostly unable to make any actual decisions during her entire childhood soooooo. i’m waiting

she was put in an abusive household and left alone with her main abuser, and even before that she was neglected by her mother and uncle, who always favored zuko over her. yes she did terrible things, but she wasn’t born a terrible person, but rather made one in order to fit her father’s ideals and goals.
