This piece is a couple years old. It's an artistic depiction of Damien's innocence being torn from him by his cult head-master, Aiken. Damien was a slave that grew up beneath the cruel lash of a cult of Death Worshippers, and he was forced to learn and use Necromancy from childhood, until his death and turning at the hands of a roving group of vampires while out on an errand. This is Khraljaam, an Incubus character from Azrael's time before he gets recruited by Valandil to fight the good fight. He's a Crime-Lord that controls a pretty good chunk of his city Zania in Arandi and sees poor Azrael as his favoured pet assassin-thief. This is just an initial concept of the character. You can't read about him just yet, as I haven't finished Azrael's origin story or the third book of my series, yet. But he's something to look forward to. The book cover I made for the first book of my book series, Sanguine Bonds: Emergence! This took me way too long to do, I don't usually do much shading or anything anymore because I rarely have the patience, but I felt this was important enough to bother with. It Features my main Big Bad, Alastair staring down Valandil, who's the leader of the good guys, and poor Damien and Azrael are caught in the middle of their conflict that has been happening on and off for centuries, before they were even born. This scene takes place in the thirteenth chapter of my first book, Origins. It's just after Grayson and Alaric tortured Azrael and before they dumped his body down the garbage chute. Believe it or not, this isn't showing his most grievous wounds. He is alive though, if barely. Grayson was too dumb to check for vitals before he tossed his body. I was in another one of my moods and needed an outlet. This was also practice for shadows and perspective.

This is a "behind the scenes" scene of my first book, Sanguine Bonds - Origins. It's Grayson complaining to Alaric (for good reason, really) about him being the only one that subdued their targets even though there were three other vampires on the mission, and getting riddled with holes and burns, while the others did diddly.

These are my original characters, Grayson Elsher, Alaric Mikalis, Damien Hemlock, and Azrael Thistlegrove. They're all vampires of various races. Azrael looks darker because his skin tone was very tan in life, but he's still very much (un)dead.

....It kinda looks like Grayson's about to bite a chunk out of Az's rear. lol

This is an updated version of an old piece I did back in 2022. I was happy with the background, so I just redrew Azrael and Grayson and the little stalker in the background.

This is depicting a scene in the 11th chapter of my first book, Sanguine Bonds - Origins. Grayson got a foot to the nose, so he's paying Azrael back with interest.

This depicts a nightmare of Azrael's that I have yet to actually write. It was an idea that stuck in my head and wouldn't leave, so I drew it from start to finish in one night. It depicts Damien as being the saviour to pull Az from the suffocating darkness, because Damien was there for him when he needed a friend the most. Since his exile from his homeland, Az had been lonely and abused by his master; used as both a thief and an assassin against his will, and he turned to heavy drinking and sex to cope.

He managed to escape all that when Valandil recruited him to his cause and Damien reached out to befriend him when he had no one.

This was some random doodle that I made in response to a screenshot of some in-game lore a friend posted on our ESO guild's discord. It made me giggle, so I sketched out my thief's reaction to it. The screenshot of the lore-page went something like; "What do you get when you catch a Wood Elf thief? The pleasure of pressing a searing hot poker through his eye and into his brain!" It would understandably make Azrael uncomfortable. lol This is one of my vampire OCs in my Sanguine Bonds series, Azrael. He's mischievous as all hell and he's a thief by profession, but really, he has a heart of gold. lol

This is an artistic depiction of Grayson Elsher, one of the main baddies, stabbing poor Azrael in the chest. It's not how it really happens. Az is actually supposed to be wearing pants for one, and supposed to be chained to a torture rack for two, but I thought it would make a neat, if somewhat gory, picture. Enjoy, if you're into that kinda thing. lol

This is Valandil being… well, Valandil. He knows he's pretty, though he doesn't let it get to his head. …Too much. His name is Count Valandil Bellandi, and he's the eldest vampire character of my book series, Sanguine Bonds, as well as my first main character in the game The Elderscrolls Online, and he's my main protagonist Damien Hemlock's boyfriend and rescuer. The two friends have been taken captive and had their powers bound to prevent their escape. They've been isolated in different areas in their makeshift prison to keep them in line.

Azrael fumes, knowing the sacrifices his best friend made in an effort to save his life. Damien weeps, knowing it wasn't enough, and blaming himself for the entire ordeal. Together, they wait their impending doom.

It's a depiction of what happens to my two main characters in the first book of my series, Sanguine Bonds.

This scene takes place in Azrael Thistlegrove's origin story that I'm currently working on, called Sanguine Bonds - The Thief. He's twenty years old here, just a month or two before he's killed and turned into a vampire, and he's on a mission with his childhood rival, Garvil Heatherbow to investigate some disappearances and inadvertently finds the source. Hence the name-calling as he's going airborne. lol
