I’m going to be a doctor and want to get into the Doctors Without Borders program, where doctors go for a month or more to a third world country and provide medical procedures such as a cleft palate or something like that. I’m a freshman so I have my undergrad to finish and then I start a 6 year residency. “I just found out when I got to the beach that my kite has a hole in it. There’s palms, twigs and debris when you land the kite so it’s possible that’s how it happened. I’m glad I found out on the beach because when you’re out really far and something goes wrong with the kite, it’s a heck of a swim. I’ve been kitesurfing for 12 years and I’m teaching my little guy, who’s 8 years old. He’s in school, he was bummed he couldn’t go today, but we’ll look at it again around 2pm and hopefully the wind is still holding. @sandiegohumans Instagram - “I normally describe myself as an atheist because it’s the quickest GPS, but actually I’d be an agnostic, for the reason that I’ve had a number of experiences, half a dozen or so, that I can’t explain by the normal cognitive stuff that we’re handed. For instance I had a horrendous accident when I hit a patch of black ice and I no idea what it was when I hit it. I was 18 years old, going to college in the northwest. We skidded for a few hundred feet and I hovered above the car wondering if we were going to live or die, with no fear on my part. I watched it all. Without going into all the details, my story is very similar to many accounts of people leaving their body.
