Symbolism of the Wizard of Oz characters (tbhk 127 spoilers!)

You know, at the time when this whole big clock thing happened, there was a festival at the school and they were going to put on “The Wizard of Oz” as a play. Maybe this is actually a symbol of recent events? That's why I decided to consider such a strange idea.

Dorothy's departure from Kansas:

In the story, Dorothy is a young girl living in Kansas. But one day she finds herself in another place due to a cyclone in Kansas, so all the adventures start from this point.

Yashiro Nene is Dorothy as the main character here. She is taken by Tsukasa to the border of the Clock Keepers and then never returns to the real world. The original timeline is Kansas. Tsukasa, Sakura and Natsuhiko are the Cyclone. Because of them, the big clock is damaged and the school's time stops.

Scarecrow:

I know you'll laugh if I say Toto is Aoi, but I can't think of any other option. Since Kansas, Toto (as a pet) has been Dorothy's best friend. Aoi, as a human, is Yashiro's best friend. So... idk

Glinda:

Glinda is Akane. We can see a lot of that in the last chapter. If witches represent the supernatural, Akane is one of the good supernaturals. Glinda takes the hat from Dorothy and tells her that her shoes will show her the way back “home”. Likewise, Akane takes the hourglass from Yashiro and sends her back to the past. Her only salvation is to go back to the time and find Kako and Mirai.

If the golden hat represents the hourglass, what are Yashiro's “shoes” that will allow her to return to the original timeline?

An underrated opinion

Akane Aoi is an Intj, not Istj

Akane is an Intj. That's obvious. He is intuitive. Most of the time when he makes decisions, he does what comes to his mind, not what he plans. Also, Istjs are realistic and daydreaming is not really their thing. But look at Akane, he daydreams and scenarios about Aoi. He believes to the "horrible" fake scenarios about Teru stealing Aoi from him. He's very imaginative. And please read the manga after chapter 105. Akane betrayed his friends - even against his will - for the Clock keepers. Intjs are often (stereotypically) known as hypocrites. And Teru didn't even realize it. This means that Akane can betray his friends for the Clock keepers.

He bears no resemblance to Sakura Nanamine. Sakura is a realist, but Akane is not. And like most steorotype intjs, Akane seems cold, rude and silent. Especially in his Clock keeper form. Intjs also often have obsessive personalities. Just like Akane is obsessed with Aoi.

Aroace Teru! Aroace Teru! His color theme matches the flag! Also, I don't think Teru wants to have a lover because he's an exorcist. How can he take care of a lover when he can barely take care of his own siblings? Teru also doesn't have to worry about rejection because he is liked by both girls and boys (ninety percent of the school). However, if he rejects everyone, he is either demiromantic or aroace.

Tbhk Chapter 126 Spoilers!!

Guys what if this akane is the clock keeper of the real present?? And he's been watching over the og timeline's present the whole time? Because Kako said "i leave the rest to you"

Also, since Akane is technically the clock keeper of the “Present”, does he have control over alternative timelines?

The clock keepers created new timelines but Akane was stuck in the original one, watching over it, as the guardian of the real present. He originally thought there was only going to be one timeline but Yashiro just created more and more by the sand clock.

Powers and costs/ Inability to save a loved one

My suspicions were partially confirmed after the new episode. Kako and Mirai used to be human. Mirai was his niece. (I thought maybe he was her father)

In this manga, there is an understanding of “power for a price or a curse”. No matter what kind of power you have, you will pay a price.

Hanako even said that every wish has a price. But only for those who make a wish? No. Mysteries pay a price too.

Hanako is a ghost who fulfills the wishes of the living. In return, the wisher pays a price.

If he can grant the wishes of the living, why couldn't he grant Yashiro's?

At first Yashiro wanted Teru to fall in love with her. Then, when she turned into a fish, she wanted to become human again.

Teru was an exorcist. That's why he couldn't grant the first wish and he swallowed the same stamp as Yashiro to grant the second wish.

A funny theory. Aida and Iro have a hand fetish

Oh, so you kin... Teru Minamoto?

Even though people misunderstand and hate him, Teru Minamoto is still similar to most people today.

He is smart, strong, kind, handsome, has a good sense of humor, helpful, organized and many other things. He is the model son that people always wanted in his school life, in his home life and even in his exorcist life.

Although he lost his mother at a young age, he tries to protect his siblings, he does not want them to be harmed and he does not want them to see his weakness.

He must be strong for them. To protect them. He is always childish and tries to make them laugh and be happy. So they won't always be sad about their mother's death. Because it is a traumatic event and it has a big impact on young children. And so at least Tiara and Kou grew up a little bit healthy.

No matter how much he tries to hide his feelings, that mask breaks one day. After seeing Kou's corpse. Teru Minamoto is like a matryoshka doll. Every time you remove one mask, you discover another mask, and the more you remove them, the smaller they get. So each time these masks are broken, his vulnerability increases.

Similarities between Akane Aoi and Sakura Nanamine

As you know, in the manga and in the anime, Akane and Sakura have no moments together. But still, Sakura recognizes Akane as the clock-keeper and from the clock-keepers' court, partly Akane learns who Sakura is because of Tsukasa. But they still share some characteristics. That's why I wanted to publish this post.

Downturned eyes and dull faces. Akane is mostly dull-faced in his clock keeper form. And we already know that Sakura makes this expression all the time.
