Found this via a facebook post. Being someone else who has been taken advantage of by his dealings, I definitely thought the need to replog and make sure this gets out even farther. In my case, I am still out almost $1,000 USD from our arrangement, that was meant for a Batman fan film I had been working on at the time. I will say I have received part of my order, which was a pain to get out of him, however, it is around 3 years since I have received anything else. Personally, I have screen capped all of our conversations, both between myself and his page, as well as between myself and his personal facebook. In which the end result is that he doesn’t care and seems to be aloof with the fact that he owes lots of people money and products. (I will gladly provide screen caps to anyone interested). For those of us that have been scammed and would like to file a complaint somewhere, you certainly can. You can actually file a complaint with the FBI under internet fraud, which the primary focus would be “Non-Delivery of Merchandise”. It is free to file and obviously the more people that file, the more it will be noticed. Wouldn’t necessarily mean you’d get the money you were scammed or the item you are owed, however, a chance for legal justice to take it’s course.
He is very hypocritical and is a huge keyboard warrior. He likes to preach about being like Captain America, yet can’t seem to regularly practice what he preaches. And he’ll do and say whatever he can to make you feel like a bad guy... with my case, I was being too impatient since I hadn’t received what was owed in over 2 years. Extra note, now that I remembered, he made a batsuit I somewhat liked, we agreed he would send it to me in lieu of two suits he owed me (which I suggested since I was growing very tired of waiting). He said he would do some touch ups on it before he would send it out. After a short time, I noticed he was posting pictures of someone else in the batsuit for a party business. I asked what was going on with the suit and he thought I would be ok with it for a little while (which obviously I was not), shortly after that he claimed that the person wearing the suit in the photos stole it from him, so we were then back to square one. Not too long ago the person that supposedly “stole” the suit reached out to me for a latex costume piece I now make. Before conducting business with this individual, I needed to know his side of things. Apparently (which seems quite likely at this point), this individual had made an arrangement from Grifter to make him a few suits for his business, as well as would work with him (not actually knowing the suit had been promised to me). Later on the individual found out some things he didn’t agree with and decided to part ways with Alexander, in which Alex told him to keep some of the costumes for what was owed. Which in turn, left me with nothing more, yet again.
So, that being said, definitely beware of doing business with Alexander Priddy/Grifter’s Custom Creations/GCC//Grifter Customs/Grifter Cosplay/Noble Squad
And again, please be sure to fill that complaint application out for him and any other scammer out there. Best of luck to all.
If you’re going to block someone on Facebook so they can’t tell the internet how much of an asshole you are, you should probably invest in some security settings, instead of posting everything globally.
