RAJASTHANI RESTAURANT RISHIKESH INDIA
Address: Haridwar Road, Triveni Ghat Chowk, Manvendera Nagar, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand 249201
Phone: 0135 243 8287
Hours: Open today · 8:30AM–10PM
Rajasthani Mishthan Bhandar, also known as the Rajasthani Restaurant/Cafe in Rishikesh town is one of our favourite places to eat. Great value for money, energetic atmosphere, fun on the ball staff and ridiculously tasty half or full sized portions of many dishes. From Dosa's, Veg Thalis, Chinese noodles, Dal fry, you name it, they cook it.
Make sure you leave room to taste some of the huge selection of mouthwatering Indian sweets available.  Some find the texture of some Indian sweets a little strange at first, but this is why we recommend trying as many as you possibly can. Our absolute favourite desert is the Rajasthani Restaurant's Rasmalai. Definitely the best we have ever tasted throughout India or England and believe me, we have tried a few portions of Rasmalai in our time.
A 10rs ride in a rickshaw from Lakshman Jhula, or 5rs ride from Ram Jhula. The rickshaw is meant to sit 6 people, but the driver manages to fit 10 on board (great fun).
Most travellers seem to stay in Lakshman Jhula, or Ram Jhula to eat, but this is totally worth the effort as the mix of local clientele, traditional music and colourful décor with Indian deities and prayers covering the walls gives you an authentic Indian dining experience.
FAVOURITE MAIN DISH: ALOO GOBI (HALF PORTION 70RS / FULL PORTION 100 RS + BUTTER ROTI 8RS
FAVOURITE DESERT: RASMALAI 1 X PIECE 26RS (you will be having 2 portions)

MANDALA CAFE – AGONDA – GOA -INDIA
An Indian/French inspired vegan Cafe run by French lady Jess from Brittany and Indian partner Manu from Pushkar, in the heart of beautiful Agonda Beach, Canacona, Goa. Their team of energetic and friendly staff serve the best Masala Chai in town, with lots of Vegan food and drink options including irresistible vegan Brownies with slithers of strawberry on top, sweet and savoury French crepes and galettes, delicious vegetarian fried rice and a long list of nutritious smoothies, juices and shakes.
There is always and eclectic mix of good music playing and often local and travelling musicians pass by adding to the positive chilled vibe and colourful setting.
Set on the edge of a coconut grove, a little back from the bustling main road, this little gem is a hub frequented by international teachers and students from the nearby Sampoorna Yoga Village which is situated next to Mandala Cafe.
Our daily indulgence was a pot of real Italian Espresso coffee whilst enjoying the friendly Agonda cafe culture scene.
Opening hours are 7am – 10pm, The address for Mandala Cafe – When you enter Agonda turn left at the church and it is a 10 minute walk. It is on the left hand side of the road. Ask anyone for Sampoorna Yoga, Agonda, 402703, India, and the cafe is in front of the school.

Really looking forward to seeing Mooji Baba again in Rishikesh after discovering him there 3 years ago.
Rishikesh, India  - 16 February – 19 March, 2017
These five weeks of Open Satsang with Mooji offer a powerful opportunity for many beings to be immersed in the energy field of Satsang. The Satsangs are free and open for all who are called to discover who they truly are. During Satsang, Mooji speaks with seekers of Truth as they bring forward any burning questions, doubts and testimonies in relation to their search for lasting peace, joy and liberation.

In this video, Sadhguru explains the reason why it is generally advised in the yogic culture not to point your head towards the North direction when sleeping. As everything is influenced by the pull of the magnetic poles on the planet, including the movement of the continents itself, definitely they have a certain influence on our system as well. Later in the video, he also answers a question on the best direction and position to sleep in.

POWERFUL OM CHANTS
The vibration produced by chanting Om in the physical universe corresponds to the original vibration that first arose at the time of creation. The sound of Om sustains life. Om also represents the four states of the Supreme Being. The three sounds in Om (AUM) represent the waking, dream and deep sleep states and the silence which surrounds Om represents the "Bliss" state. Because the first of the three states of consciousness is the waking state, it is represented by the sound "A" pronounced like "A" in America. Because the dream state of consciousness lies between the waking and the deep sleep states, it is represented by the letter "U" which lies between the "A" and "M". This "U" is pronounced like the "U" in would. The last state of consciousness is the deep sleep state and is represented by "M" pronounced as in "sum." This closes the pronunciation of Om just as deep sleep is the final stage of the mind at rest. Whenever Om is recited in succession there is an inevitable period of silence between two successive Oms. This silence represents the "fourth state" which is the state of perfect bliss when the individual self recognizes his identity with the supreme.
