Okay, let me cook a bit 😆 - I just noticed when comparing Gihun in the limo scene to when Gihun arrives again in the games, he has more of a mustache and stubble in the limo.

It is there before, but suddenly not there after when he is in the games. Where did his little mustache go? [I know we can probably contribute this to make up/lighting/different filming dates etc... BUT (LISTENING TO MY SHIPPER BRAIN)]

WHAT IF, what if...

In-ho shaved Gihun before the games too.

I've seen the notes and discussions of In-ho dressing Gihun for the games himself, and taking the fake tooth and tracker out of Gihun's mouth himself. Now let's add a delicate shave to the mix while Gihun is knocked tf out, cause In-ho's man gotta look good for the games (me: screaming into a pillow and kicking my feet)

Also, shaving can be soooo intimate (or dangerous) depending on the shave and who is doing the shaving.

If anyone decides to write an fanfic about In-ho secretly caring (and obsessing) over Gihun while he is knocked out before the game, please let me know. Or if anyone has already written or found fics like that, please send them my way! I need to scratch an itch ahaha.

(If it comes to it, I may just write it myself once this busy month is over ahaha)

I laughed out loud throughout the whole thing. These two men are so effortlessly funny and fun to watch, and I really hope we get more interviews and videos with the two of them together for season 2 and then for more promotions for season 3 this year.

Ughhh Lee Jung-Jae and Lee Byung-Hun are adorable and have my heartttt at this point.

LOL you know you are in the trenches of a fandom when you are waiting for a video to release and using it as motivation just to get through work. Definitely made my day though.

I decided with this Tumblr account, that I shall track all of fandom hyperfixations throughout 2025. Obviously with the banner, starting with Squid Game 2's 457 ship.

I will say, JayVik had me in a chokehold for like 2 months at the end of 2024, but that was 2024, and this ship took me so damn suddenly. Like I have not had the urge to draw doodles, fangirl in fandom space, or have the urge to write anything about a ship in a very long time - like I don't even know how to make edits, but I have edit ideas. Also want to rewatch season 2 again already, just to rewatching with new eyes and a brain now in 457 brainrot.

Also please writers keep all the fanfics coming. <3 I've been reading so many fics of Gihun and In-ho for the past few days in between work, and it's been marvelous. Has really scratched a hyperfixation itch I was missing for awhile. These fics can be my motivation as work begins again :')

I feel I will be fixated on these two for quite sometime. Their dynamic is just so interesting and their motivations and moralities are not set in stone enough that it gives such great space for fandom writers and creators to play with. Love itttt.

(also would love to see other people track their hyperfixations - it makes for a really interesting thing to look back on)

Reading this made me feral - ugh chef's kiss . The angst and the longing. In-ho's eyes were so expressive throughout the whole show, and this read on this scene just gives me so many extra feels 😭

the way he looks at him here…he knows this is the last time gi-hun see him as young-il. he knows it’s the last time gi-hun will look at him like that. with that trust, with that love, with that concern. he’s drinking it all in, capturing this memory of him as much as he can before he has to go. you can see the loss he feels in his eyes. he doesn’t want to let this go but he knows he has to.
