Lyric's eyes open wide slowly and black blush fills his cheeks in embarrassment, misunderstanding at first what she was trying to get across until he'd processed her words properly. "I mean..." he raises a taloned hand to his neck to scratch the lower part of his scalp, looking down at the dirt beneath them for a moment avoiding eye contact while he considered... keep talking to the perceived vampire but take some punches? Or part ways? "I think.... I would probably like to get to know you a little better" his eyes return to Vyre's now holding eye contact, his dark blue eyes with her ruby red orbs. "If that means having to toughen up around you then... well... who knows? Maybe you'll be doing me a favour?" "...I will admit, I have lost my bite in recent years... Though that's not a story I wish to share details of.. or at least not yet anyway." He flashes a small smile, the tips of his fangs just barely visible beneath his lip. "Just don't break my strings again yeah? I need this guitar to eat" he adds in half jest, offing a slightly wider smile with the remark and a playful look in his eyes as he extends his clawed hand out to her to offer a hand shake.
"I mean... you did cut my guitar strings with your bare nails and told me what you'd do to my body with said nails if I kept playing. That's not how most people introduced themselves!" Lyric responds a little taken back. Then suddenly a thought crosses his mind and the fae tilts his head a little to one side. "Wait, is this a vampire thing? Carlos always comes by bruised when he sees you. Should I start over?"

"Aren't you that person who wanted to attack m-" "I I MEAN..."
"Sure, lets go on a date! Just don't hurt me! We'll go where ever you like!"
"What a submissive little bitch."

I had a funny moment with Lyric playing BG3. I found a seller who was selling a violin, and me OOC was like "huh, I'm gunna buy that just because I wanna hear what different songs can be played on that". So I bought it and equipped it on Lyric who is of course a bard, and I get Lyric to start playing it and mess about for a little while to see what songs he can play. Suddenly though something VERY in character happened! I spot an animal in the distance and I sent my party over so I could have my druid use speak with animals on it (I made Hunter in multiplayer mode so I could have Lyric AND Hunter in my team in single player mode) So Hunter speaks to the animal, listens to all they have to say and then finishes up. I then suddenly realize I only have 3 party members standing around, so I look around and there in the distance stood Lyric STILL playing his violin COMPLETLEY ignoring the party and I'm just like "... Trust it to be fucking Lyric who zones out and gets distracted with a shiny new instrument!!!" That's just freaking like him! XD

"Your voice is very pleasant. Hope that's not too weird of a complement, eheh..." ~Bloody-Little-Lullaby
"I..." the compliment caught the fae off guard. He had only just finished playing his last song and hadn't expected anything more than perhaps a few coins tossed at his cup by passers by should they have deemed him worthy enough, as was the life of a busker. But the compliment thrown at him instead by this particular person had caused him to blush slightly, his face turning slightly grey though instead of red given his blood was in fact black colour. "I... thank you. That's kind of you to say" Lyric smiled to the person, a little bashful but clearly grateful for the compliment. "Its not weird... Some horned guy standing on a street corner belting acoustic grunge so they can buy a sandwich is probably weird! But, I appreciate it, thanks" the fae tips his head. "Y'know I'm used to most people walking by or calling security, not a lot of people actually stop and say anything. I'm Lyric" @bloody-little-lullaby

"Is there any kind of music you don't like or find hard to play? Any particular song that always gives you 'the feels'? " ~EerieSongsAndGossamerWings
Lyric was sat on a step tuning his guitar as this person asked the question. He looked from the strings to face the individual, surprised to see another fae of all people! Though not one like himself. He gave a toothy smile giving accidental view of his fangs to the stranger acknowledging them politely before placing the guitar down beside himself so his full attention was on the stranger. "Trust me there's plenty I don't like! Although I typically tend to keep it to myself since Its not my business to put it down. Everyone likes different things after all right? But since you asked, I'm not particularly moved by a lot of modern 'electronic' music. I just... I dunno... I wouldn't say I hate it, but it just doesn't have any soul in it y'know? I'm more of a rock and grunge fan. But as for something that gives me feels? Now I know you're gunna judge me for this but have you ever heard the song Bright Eyes? Y'know, the one from watership down? Yeah, I probably don't need to explain further" the fae chuckles. "You got a request?" he picks his guitar up again, unsure if they were trying to figure out what he'd play or simply inquiring out of interest.

"Rules rule"
==========================
Hi! I'm unsure if I sent one of these messages before, so forgive me if I did! I have the memory of a sea pickle. I'll try and say what needs to be said though! I'm following from this main/personal because all my OC, RP Blogs are sides. No obligation to look through them all or ANY, but a link to a (somewhat long) list with small descriptions for each blog is tagged as RP Blog and linked to under the Pages tab on desk/laptop if you want. I hope you have a wonderful day/afternoon/night!
I'm sorry for my late answer, I unfortunately got called out the house at the same time you sent this ^^;;; Thank you so much for reading through my rules though :D <3 I think I might have had a little looky at your blogs before >w> <3 I'll have another looky through though. I've been on a bit of a long hiatus and aside from babbling about stuff now and again havent engaged much when it comes to RP, so I'll have to look through and who knows :P maybe we could plot something. I do recall your OC's being pretty freaking awesome!

I think Lyric is also the first character I've used in D&D who hasn't killed anyone yet lol.
Worst he's done thus far is fire his slingshot at a pirate, but he didn't kill em. Aside from that though he's always looking at none violent ways of getting around things.
Oh and building snowmen, he's made multiple mini snowmen now outside every building he's entered XD I dunno why, this is just Lyric for ya!
#ooc#none violent boy#uses his words#And his mind#but rarely violent#but also snowmen#for some reason

I can't stop thinking about Lyric's reaction to being taken to one of those huge aquariums where you walk pretty much underneath it and see all the sharks and rays swimming around.
He's never seen anything like it before and would be like a big kid in absolute awe with his jaw dropped and eyes hyper focused on the sea creatures around him. Guitar likely just held in one hand by the neck the way a kid holds its teddy bear loosely.

Lyric comes out of hiding sipping on a blood bag like a juice box. Though of course, he had a paper bag around it so nobody can see what he's drinking.
It was a compulsory part of his diet, and he'd at least chosen to go the passive route of taking blood that wasn't inside anyone's body. No harm no foul right?

Lyric absolutely hates being confined!
Its not even a matter of small spaces exactly. If Lyric puts himself in a closet for example and closes the door he'll be absolutely fine. But if he has no control over the situation in a small space, like if he's put in a cage or gets stuck in a cave he will freak out! It's probably his biggest phobia being confined in small spaces without any control over when he gets to leave.

Well D&D was something! XD Got into combat with some bears and Lyric still had speak with animals active from talking with a wolf before combat started so I rolled intimidation with advantage to try and scare away the bears... I failed both rolls!!!! I realized I had a karma point I hadnt used, so I used it to squeak in one last roll.... still failed XD So now I can't get the mental image out of my head of Lyric all cute and adorable trying to be scary like a kitten with its tail puffed up and the bears just laughing at him! He's literally the freaking twig of the group ROFL!!!! Everyone else is all tall and strong and then there's Lyric the little weed following along. I tried a vicious mockery on my next turn in an effort to try and give the bears a disadvantage, but I even failed that XD But in the end he did actually manage to end combat by realizing the bears didnt have dark vision and yeeting their light source into the woods which the bears then followed and everyone picked up those who don't have dark vision, grabbed the wounded wolf and high tailed the fuck out of there!!!!

Another part was that only a few of the party actually witnessed the ship eating the elf. The rest of the crew and another member of the party did not! Lyric was trying to ask the ship to give them a sign what the ship wanted. Then everyone else started asking the same question but in different languages. So the other party member eventually shows up and just sees everyone on deck yelling at the ship in different languages like "wtf is going on?!"

So in a nutshell this is how tonight's D&D session went down. Druid: "Have you seen that guy Lyric? He's weird..." Cleric: "Who's Lyric?" Druid: "You know, the strange one with the horns... why does he have horns? I don't know if I trust him" He holds his fingers up above his head to resemble horns DM: "Roll perception Lyric!" Druid: "Oh shit, he's right behind me isn't he?" still holding his hands above his head to resemble horns. Lyric: "I found a fishing line!" :D he shows the druid his fishing line.
#D&D#Poor Lyric XD#Saved him some heartbreak failing that roll XD#The other bard did help him make a snowman though#so he made one friend at least :D
