HOPE THE HEDGEHOG Age: 16 Gender: Cis-Woman (She/Her) Sexuality: Lesbian D.O.B: 16th of December, 2020 Parents: Sonic and Shadow the Hedgehog Bio: Born few months after the crisis of the Metal Virus, Hope the Hedgehog is a strong and stubborn soul. Taking after Shadow, Hope is stoic and serious and will never back down from a challenge. But underneath her somewhat cold exterior, she has a kind, brave and truthful heart with a string sense of purpose. As the leader of the Restoration, Hope the Hedgehog has her mind set on protecting the world and the people she cares about and she will go to any means to keep his friends safe, which shouldn’t be too hard; thanks to her Chaos Abilities which she inherited from Shadow.

Light the Hedgehog Age: 16 Gender: Cis-Woman (She/Her) Sexuality: Asexual, Aromantic D.O.B: 16th of December, 2020 Parents: Sonic and Shadow the Hedgehog Bio: Born alongside Hope, Light the Hedgehog is the polar opposite of her older, twin sister. Light is an outgoing, friendly and confident soul, living her life to the best she can without a care for any dangers that may be lurking around the corner. Many think of her as a classic bombshell character, however, Light is in fact very intelligent. She simply prefers to use her quick-wits on her feet, much like her papa, Sonic the Hedgehog. In this current era of somewhat peace, Light is travelling around the world, thanks to the fact she inherited Sonic’s super-speed, in hopes that one day she will find a purpose for herself, just like her friends.

Delilah the Fox Age: 16 Gender: Cis-Woman (She/Her) Sexuality: Bisexual, Lesbian D.O.B: 27th of September, 2020 Parents: Miles "Tails" Prower the Fox and Cream the Rabbit Bio: Delilah Vanilla Prower is a gentle and caring soul, kind to all who are lucky enough to encounter her. Although she was born very soon after the Metal Virus crisis, Delilah's parents made an effort to ensure she was happy and shielded from the trauma the world had faced. Many would say Delilah is a perfect reflection of her mother, but the young fox also has a keen mind and an interest in technology and science, much like her father. With plans to aid the Restoration with her interlect as the leading scientist, Delilah works tirelessly with Hope to provide the best possible advantage for their team.

Emeralda the Bat Age: 15 Gender: Cis-Woman (She/Her) Sexuality: Pansexual D.O.B: 30th of May, 2021 Parents: Knuckles the Echidna and Rouge the Bat Bio: Wild and irresponsible and a party-goer, Emeralda is almost a splitting image of her mother. With an obession for all things shiny and luxurious, it's easy to notice that she is the daughter of Rouge the Bat. But when push comes to shove, Emeralda knows how to be uptight and combat-ready. She may not be the best fighter, but she is agile and knows her way through tight spaces, thanks to her treasure hunting expeditions. Even though she is a crucial part of the Restoration, Emeralda is still slowly learning to show her responsibility to the team of heroes and especially her best friend, Light.

Winter the Lemur Age: 17 (turning 18) Gender: Cis-Man (He/Him) Sexuality: Demisexual, Demiromantic D.O.B: 16th of Feburary, 2018 Parents: (Adoptive) Tangle the Lemur and Whisper the Wolf Bio: Born two years before the first infections of the Metal Virus, Winter didn't have the best start to life. He was sadly converted into a Zombot and sent far away from his home while the Deadly Six reigned over the Zombots, and when he was cured, he had no memory of his home, nor his original family. Winter was left to fend for himself in Spiral Hill Village and suffered humilation at the hands of bullies, which led to him developing life-long trust issues and troubles making friends. Thankfully, local heroes Tangle and Whisper took him in as their own and raised him in a loving home. Winter now is still cold and distant, careful not to trust others in fear of reprecussions. However, he has learned to be caring and is exceptionally protective of his friends and families at the Restoration and Spiral Hill alike. Nowadays, whenever he can, Winter is building on his treasure-hunting skills, and as he continues on his quests to find ancient artifacts, Winter has started making more friends, and has formed a bit of a rivalry with a certain bat from the Restoration.

Lustre the Beetle Age: 11 Gender: Cis-Woman (She/Her) Sexuality: Undecided, Straight-Ally D.O.B: 18th of June, 2025 Parents: Unknown Father, Jewel the Beetle Bio: The youngest of the entire group, Lustre does not allow any obstacles to stand in her way. Since she is still a young child, Lustre is very active and energetic, described as hyper by the others. She is loud and always excited, and a bit of a daredevil with a heart that seeks crazy adventures. However, she listens to reason and still cares for her friends, especially Winter, who has been around ever since she was born. In a way, they are the new Sonic and Tails of Spiral Hill Village, and Lustre hopes that one day she would be able to join the adventuring and treasure-hunting field with her best friend/big-brother.

Edgar the Cat Age: 12 Gender: Questioning (He/Them) Sexuality: Questioning D.O.B: 22nd of April, 2024 Parents: Silver the Hedgehog and Blaze the Cat Bio: Born into royalty, Edgar has always been told he has a role to play. Ever since he was very young, his mother had him buried in work, preparing him to be the nest sovereign of the Sol Empire. Edgar, as a kid, believed this was all he needed to do and forgot to have a life of his own. Now, he faces the consequences of being confused about his own identity. Edgar is still a good kid and wants to help his new friends, wanting to repay Lustre for teaching him the values of friendship. He may be quiet and reclused, but the young cat is trying his best to find his identity amongst his friends and learning how to wield and master his telekinetic abilities.

THE ANTIHEROES

Olivia the Jackal Age: 17 Gender: Agender, Gendervoid, Demi-girl (She/Them/It) Sexuality: Pansexual D.O.B: 7th of November, 2018 Parents: Infinite the Jackal (deceased) and Gadget the Wolf (deceased) Bio: Olivia was not born; she was a creation of the Phantom Ruby due to Infinite and Gadget being unable to have their own children through humane means. Olivia, as a child, was rather innocent and really enjoyed lullabies and bedtime stories, which her parents gladly provided her with. Her happiness did not last, however, as during a devastating attack launched by Dr Eggman, Infinite and Gadget were killed. This left Olivia at the mercy of the Jackal Squad, her packmates that did not care for her existence. Due to their negligence, Olivia grew up to become more sour and distant from others, having a dark and dry sense of humour, constantly comtemplating sadistic thoughts and is now desensitized to expressing strong emotions other than frustration. She did, fortunately, inherit Infinite’s Phantom Bracelets, which allowed her to manipulate the power of the Phantom Ruby. After running away and befriending Light, Olivia has learned to be more open and struck out on her own. She would go on to meet Typhoon and working alongside him has once again opened her heart to a more innocent side of life.

Typhoon the Hawk Age: 17 Gender: Transmasculine (He/Him) Sexuality: Bisexual D.O.B: 21st of March, 2018 Parents: Jet the Hawk and Wave the Swallow Bio: Formerly named Aethia, Typhoon is a transgender male who works with his family, the Babylon Rogues, in daring raids. Typhoon is confident and cocky, skilled with Extreme Gear Boards (like the other Rogues) and machetes and highly competitive by nature, however, when it comes to supporting others he is very modest and humble. But that doesn't mean he plays by the rules. It was during a night where he challenged himself to a solo raid that he encountered a young jackal, Olivia, and the two stayed in touch due to a mutual fascination. Now Typhoon and Olivia are unstoppable together and Typhoon is on his way to the top of the world and he's not slowing down for anyone or anything.

I decided to give Lustre a teenage design!

I’m sorry I’m like- flooding you with questions- ;-;

But here’s the deal. In my Sonic au (@sonicrewrittenau), Starline replaced Eggman and became the new villain of the world, but Sonic’s daughters and the new generation of heroes (The Restoration) are fighting against him.

I wanna redesign canon!Starline to look more evil; so when you look at him, you know he’s not a force to be reckoned with. Except um…I have no idea how to make him look more evil.

You got any ideas or tips? Heck, I’m even happy for you to give me a whole design ;-;

Oh, don't worry about flooding my inbox. I leave my asks open because I enjoy interacting with others on here!

Now, I must say that I find this AU of yours quite intriguing!

I am currently preoccupied with other art projects, but that won't stop me from giving you some advice ;

You will want to find a good balance between extra menacing & iconic appearance!

If you stray too far from Starline’s original design, he will no longer be recognizable. But if you make the changes too subtle, the added details will have little to no effect. It will take trial & and error, but with time, you will find a balance.

If you are seeking inspiration on how to make him look more menacing, I recommend taking notes/inspiration from his concept designs!
