Hehe, Sonic AU go brrr

Why did I doodle all of these? Because I wanted to! :3

This all began because I saw that one drawing of someone keeping another person on a leash, hence why Tails keeping Gadget on a leash exists now.

Fuck it. Might as well infodump on these AU guys too. If you wanna read, tap the... Thing. You know, the "keep reading" thing, dayo.

Generally, they're from a Cyberpunk AU where color powers are tied to most of the mobians themselves, rather than being exclusive to the Wisps. To add, the hyper-go-ons are now called Hyper energy here, because... Tbh, the original name sounds like someone was high when coming up with a name.

There's also increasing tensions between GUN, Eggman, the freedom fighters/Resistance(Same thing), and Dr. Starline. Yes, THE PLATYPUS BOI. Because WHY THE FUCK NOT? :3

Sonic's a runaway test subject created by GUN, technically meaning he kind of IS Shadow's faker now. He's relatively unchanged, aside from not having as much plot armor and hope he normally has. BIG anti-capitalist, and has founded the Freedom fighters because of this. Also, he has the cyan laser power, so he's still the fastest thing alive.

Tails, aside from being a former GUN Engineer despite his young age, is pretty much the same here. Also, he borrowsthe red gem of his from the Tails doll. Best friend and brother figure to Sonic, although he's not as timid as he is in later games.

Knuckles doesn't like how corporitized the world has become, and chooses to stick close to the Master Emerald. If Sonic wasn't a free spirit, he'd do the same.

Tikal is a BIG pacifist who, because she's dead, is looking for a way to revive herself. She's also Knux's adoptive mother, and has taught him most of what he knows. Most.

Metal Sonic's the same until after Heroes. After the incident, he's been trying to adjust with the help of Amy, but that doesn't mean he's automagically fine and okay. I... Took inspiration from another person who's done the same thing. Heheh... heh.

Amy's a robot here. Why? Because she wants to help Metal adjust and form his own identity. Guess the tarrot cards predicted they'd get together the entire time, and she originally thought the embodiment of wind, hope, and lasers was gonna be her true love.

Gadget's the only OC pictured above, being the dogfish with the goggles. She's the resistance's main engineer and second genius, although It's... best if she's kept on a leash. She's not exactly civilized despite being more machine than mobian, and is pretty damn scary when angry. But hey, she makes good wispons and cybernetics!
