however ive decided i'm done being a nightmare, she's very very nice to me. time to make fewer age-related jokes. i'm leaving for university again in a few weeks and she got me this copy of the symposium that's illustrated and really pretty and i was so delighted i almost started crying and my first reaction was "all my other plato books are really ugly, and this one is so beautiful" and she laughed (she also loves books and was emphasizing how important she finds having beautiful copies, but all of mine are very secondhand and occasionally look chewed on bc i carry them around everywhere). i'm really going to miss her while i'm gone, she is good to me in a way i wasn't aware people could be, and i really like spending time with her

I was staying the night a few weeks ago with the lady ive been going out with and she was holding me and said something like "where has time been keeping you from me 🥹" which on the surface is very cute but the answer is that basically before now i was in high school. a few years ago i was learning what algebra was while you were paying off a mortgage. i was not legal. girl please 😭she was telling me about some visit to the art museum that she did during one of her corporate jobs and i said "i was in middle school then :D" and she looked like she was going to scream. this has become fun and sport for me. remember kids: one must amuse themselves

My final verdict upon waking up: it definitely looks DIY but ultimately i think i'm glad? I've been inspired to try to grow my hair out a little (it was cut really short before) but I absolutely do NOT want bob territory. So the front is short now and I can safely let the back and sides grow with their layers and it should never become a bob 😌 hopefully
