A conflict over

Dust now settled

My best friend, no longer are we strangers in an Eastern fantasy.

But now we are part of a rose again reality. For now that we are born again, our past selves can go on our shelves.

The Lord is truly risen! The tomb is empty! We, through His sacrifice, are now made whole.

When and why did you decide to become Orthodox?

I get baptized this Easter, but I found Orthodoxy 3 years ago. I found it via death to the world and the movie Andrie Rublev. My initial answer as to "why?" Was that it was conically true, but as I continued it began to show the fruits of being Faith and community.

Sorry it's sideways but my Virgin Mary and Christ Child is now done.... I like how I did the color scheme. I think the green background was the right move, the skin color was good too. I also did color pencil on top of the few layers of watercolor paint. However I don't like how sloppy it still looks even after trying to clean it up. I also don't like the paper it's on. I'll definitely re do this one asap.
