My deactivator isn't shooting (flinging) any ink, what do I do?

Oh yes my favourite weapon the Mint Deactivator/j

Ok I'm assuming the question is about a Decavitator be it Charcoal or Mint. It seems like your weapon could either have their ink flow perturbed in some way shape or form like it drying up and being unable of flowing and basically getting stuck.

For that you need to do a deep cleaning that can usually be done in basic maintenance by opening up the casing at the top because that's usually were all the dry ink ends up. Usually you can get it cleaned with a bit of thinner and a good scrubber.

Aside from that there's a possibility that the charging mechanism might have gotten messed up by regular use or by getting a bad hit during a match. For that i'd go to an actual repair shop mostly because the specifics of the damage can really vary.

First I must say I did not expect to take up to two months to do the whole thing Orz

I got everyone on the drawing now! I am just in the cleanup and rendering stages which I hope will take me maybe a two weeks? With exams and everything lol

I do kinda apologize for taking this long lol, I did want to make more pieces (One big piece and a bunch of smaller ones) but I unfortunately couldn't (did one small before I got everyone's references that has been finished for a while now and this big one with 16 characters)

On an rp standpoint I'm probably having Reef finally kinda open up a bit emotionally and them struggling to put everything into words being the sole reason why they haven't posted the party photos for this long lol

I've tried to have everyone interacting with something or someone at the minimum (also I think you can see the scale of the image just by seeing the size of some people in between the screenshots lol)

I am legit very happy how it's turning out and I just want to see it finished, this has been legit haunting me for the past two months lol

GANG HELP I'M CONSIDERING JOINING A ZINE AND HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I've wanted to be in a Zine for a while now but they always make me kinda anxious because generalized anxiety of not delivering something good/not delivering in time (because the latter has happened a lot actually)

It's a C-Side (Splatoon) centric Zine and I do like those guys and I may already have some ideas for it, the applications also close on March 15th and it's gonna be free and fully digital (so that eases some of my anxieties lol)

Funnily enough I haven't, I have three main weapons I usually default into when I either go Turfing or want to play some Ranked (I normally favour Splat Zones so you may or may not have seen me there, in particular if it's Hagglefish since I literally have it next door).

Custom Range Blaster (Turfing, sometimes tower)

This is my usual go to, although it was gathering dust in my workshop for around two months maybe? Needed to get it repaired but I also had a bunch of other weapons to repair so I put it off for the longest time. I like Kraken Royale, I think it's a nice special, and I do like the power it has also. I am impartial to Splat Bomb, it's a bomb, it does its work, fin. Been trying to get back to it now that I finally fixed it tho.

Mint Decavitator (Turfing, Rainmaker)

My second go to, started using it when my blaster started to jam. I originally tried all the splatanas and ended up vibing with the Decavitators (second place wipers and last place stampers). I usually favour mint because of suction bomb, neither of the two specials really are my thing so.

Dread Wringer (Splat Zones, sometimes Turfing)

This was the second ever weapon I properly picked up (And kinda the whole reason my user here is Reefs-Slider lol), again it has suction bomb which is probably one of my favourite subs. I use it in zones because it has a good enough efficiency to inking ratio and reefslider can come in a pinch when you need to ink a zone real fast (it helped me win a 3 vs 4 once, I'm still really fond of that memory).

Those are the main 3 but I sometimes branch out to other weapons, in particular roller, I like the standard Flingza and the standard Big Swig but those are more of a "if the mood strikes" y'know?

do you have any idea how the hell grizzco happened to make the most absolutely horrendous illegal weapons? what kind of work would it take for one to even begin to get a charger to charge and release faster than an aerospray??? it’s genuinely scary how powerful all of their custom weapons are…

I've looked into each of Grizzco's modified weapons, and it appears that the "enhancements" made to them are actually pretty simple!

The Grizzco Charger, from what I can observe, is modeled after a Bamboozler, which already has the quickest shots out of any charger, but with an added pumping mechanism that increases the air pressure within the barrel, boosting its damage output to a devastating degree! However, the suction created by all this air pressure causes it to drain the user's ink tank almost instantly. Other Grizzco weapons, such as the Roller and Splatana, attach a powerful motor to max out rush damage!

But as much as I'd like to gush about all the different ways Grizzco Industries goes about creating weapons that fully lean into one specific aspect of their respective class, there's something about this line that's... a little unsettling, I'll admit! Maybe it's something to do with how the competitive spirit of inventing weapons with a balance of strengths and weaknesses is completely ignored for the sake of ensuring that they cause as much destruction as possible for business's sake? Whatever it is, the feeling was enough to make me want to put off answering this ask for the longest time. Sorry about the late answer, by the way! At least now's an appropriate time to post about it, what with the Big Run coming soon!

Look your best bet at this moment is to just pop the sound system's battery out, you should be able to find manuals for your tri-slinger online, just check the date of manufacturing (you can tell through their serial code written on the body and a quick search through an online database) because at some point I believe they did change the configuration slightly.
