For the record, I do take allegations such as those recently levied against Jay-Z very seriously. While false accusations are rare, they do happen. However, given how much both the lawsuit and subsequent interview contradict documented events of the night of the 2000 VMAs, I do believe that this is one of those rare instances where the plaintiff's claims are false.
