Maybe a Hot Take, but I miss Ultron having a personality.

I miss the bitterness, ego, entitlement, and sense of humor his dialogue and James Spader’s performance imbued him with. I get that a lot of people hated that, but seeing him come back in What If for the first time in years only to get a more generic, cold Skynet-a-like was…dissapointing.

I have seen Episode 8 of What If with ‘Ultron’ in it and I am mad.

They have butchered my boy.

I hate it. I am disgusted by the lazy writing and I’m glad I fucking pirated this because if I paid money to see the shit that I have seen I would feel robbed and would have instantly cancelled my membership (and don’t get me started on the crap of Star Wars Visions. God that was lazy writing.)

Instead I feel intense rage.

They turned him into a mass murderer, megalomaniac, with the only drive to kill every living thing in the universe, and the multi-verse, because it’s his ‘purpose to stop the suffering’.

What. The. Fuck.

WHAT THE FUCK.

Ultron may have had some issues, yes. But he liked people. He wanted humanity to evolve, to save them by making them stronger. Yes, he did it the wrong way, but he’s not some genocidal mindless killing machine. He joked, and snarked, and cared about Wanda, and let Helen Cho live despite how she tried to ruin his plans. If he was murderous, he could have killed Black Widow, but he only imprisoned her.

I am so mad right now.

As someone that has grown up surrounded by beaches and done surf life saving, I know how the sea works. Lots of people dont. Every summer multiple tourists die here because they don’t respect the sea, if you’re going to the coast, here’s a thing I saw on Facebook.
