Though it caused me to question my sanity many a time, I absolutely love how my striped wall in my master bedroom turned out! My house is slowly (like sloth slowly)coming together! Here's to my dream home in 2016!

So I'm in love with my stencil wall in my loving room. Biggest benefit of owning, being able to put your own personal style into your home! My family thought I was crazy when I mentioned I was going to do this huge accent wall with a stencil, but in my head I had this vision and after years of renting I was so excited to be able to finally turn my vision into reality. The first step was color selection, personally I like a light color on a dark (yet bright) background. I, like most girls, love Tiffany blue and find myself using the boxes as decor, but it seemed a little to light for my wall so I decided to go a little darker and I love it. Next was stencil color, finding the right accent is key, I went with a very light beige to incorporate my darker wood and offwhite wood furniture, and again I'm in love. I got my stencil from Cutting Edge Stencils, who I highly recommend. Find a pattern you're in love with, you'll be putting a lot of time into this wall and will be looking at it often. Now comes the fun part, the stencil. Cutting Edge has great YouTube videos and I highly recommend watching them. Be patient with your stencil and time, this won't be a hour or two project, but you'll love it in the end! If anyone wishes for my step by step, please let me know and I'll be overjoyed to share. Next up, my striped wall in my master bedroom!
