I just feel the need to bring it to everyones attention that Claude crochets and it makes perfect sense for his character

first of all, the spider symbolism surrounding him and Alois makes perfect sense, but also it makes more sense for him to crochet than knit and here's why:

The amount of patience and how precise one needs to be while crocheting would perfectly fit his temperament, and with crocheting you work with one loop at a time versus multiple like with knitting. And its a bit more versatile, easier to make doilies or WEBS with crochet.

Not a big deal but the idea of him crocheting calmly in his limited spare time makes me happy.
