Kinda nervous about the match tomorrow as it is but being a Ruben fan just makes it worse. The team is in shambles and since he’s been away everyones had such high expectations for him, saying we need him etc and it’s just a bit nerve wracking thinking about tomorrow and him potentially coming on or starting and he won’t fix everything quite obviously. The expectations set for him are so high everyone will just start having a go at him for not being able to do something that’s basically impossible. The glue to this team isn’t just one player.

I don’t know how someone can see how Rúben Dias conducts himself on the pitch and on training, with his teammates, the fans, the staff and still think that fucking Kyle Walker is a better captain for this club…smh

and I know that the captain armband is not everything, especially because he acts as a natural captain anyways, but seeing someone as undeserving of it as Walker wearing it, truly piss me off
