I haven’t read this specific fic… but I definitely know the feeling…

So I've been reading the Zukka fic 'All's Fair' by Lovely_Elbow_Leech on AO3, and it did something that I really like, but also enrages me.

It started off with primarily just the core cast from Avatar, but then added a few interesting side characters for flavour. And then added more side characters to make the original side characters more interesting. And now I'm just as engrossed by Captain Kazuma, who was introduced by Shen, who was one of the added side character I also loved, as I am by Sokka or Zuko.

And now all other Atla fics will forever be a disappointment, because Captain Kazuma won't be present.
