The present state of things

I usually don’t post personal revelations or experiences on tumblr. I’ve always viewed tumblr as a form of escapism, and I think that may be true for many people. We become engrossed in the things we love most, get caught up in fandoms, and take a break from reality.That is not a bad thing, and these breaks are well deserved in many cases. Tumblr is perfect for denial. We can filter things we like and what we don’t. I’ve caught myself in this dissociative reverie. It’s easy to get caught up in fiction, but sometimes we need to look at the present state of things.

200 Follower’s Gift: Moonlight Falls Default Replacement

I’ve always liked Moonlight Falls but have never played for long in it due to a couple of reasons. I’m not a big fan of occult sims and there didn’t seem to be enough room to add lots from all the EPs I own. Seeing blitzgal’s woe over the water placement for her marina spurned me into doing this now. 

What’s Changed:

     *Fixed routing issues (many issues discovered with Ellacharmed’s previous Moonlight Falls fix located on MTS).

     *Removed the No-Sims Routing Paint along the river.

     *Added 15 new lots; community and residential with custom addresses that correspond with their neighbors.

     *Moved the house that was next to the central park down the street and converted that space into 2 community lots (lots # 8, 9, 10).

What’s the Same:

     *All sims still in town. They can easily be removed in Edit Town or with mods.

     *Custom INI and color ramps intact so you will still have the beautiful lighting.

     *Auto-placement lots still auto-place. Exception is the fire station. I’ve replaced that lot with a larger one so the fire station will not auto-place (lot #13).

Known Issues:

     *Some lots look strange at far views. They look normal when the game focuses on them.

I moved Hank and Pauline to Isla Paradiso, and they bought a resort. I think it suits them.

A little gift to show my love! Looking for the perfect island getaway for your Sims? You’ve found it! Everything is built in cabin style (is that a thing?) and rabbit holes are buried to keep the theme. I’ve had this save sitting on my desktop for almost a year now and I’m finally getting around to finishing it & sharing it. Yes…I’m lazy. I wish I knew how to make cc but this will do. (LAZY!) I’ve playtested it extensively and have had no real trouble with it. Hope ya enjoy it as much as I have :)

*Note: This is a saved game so you’ll need the world by Nilxis HERE.

*About: No CC, No Store Content, 25 Lots Total All lots by me. All Sims are EA or mine. 13 Residential lots: (2 empty) 12 Community lots: All careers/rabbit holes (except film studio). Festival grounds, academy, library, hangout, market, art gallery, dance club, fusion lounge, big park, diving area & port.

*Requires: WA, LN, AMB, PETS, SPN, SNS. I used a lot of stuff from IP, UNI & SHT also.

*Recommended: Nraas Traveler, Nraas Register, Nraas Master Controller…found HERE. And no pets if you can help it…they tend to get stuck.

{Boardwalk Empire} Miscellaneous store objects enabled for World Editor (& CAW, see here for enabling or this thread). Objects are from Lucky Palms, Roaring Heights, The Boardwalk, and World of Wonder. Luna’s Ferris Wheels light up. Among those included but not pictured here are the pier pieces and wind turbine from Lucky Palms. Objects should not need the associated Worlds or Store Objects to be installed, but I make no promises, still a little new to this. Previews of each object are included in the file.

Bloom’s Sexy Feet are some of the default replacements I absolutely cannot play without. Unfortunately they’re only available from teens to elders, so I felt the need to convert them for toddlers and children! Now the whole family has pretty feet ♥ 

Information:

» The .zip contains two compressed .packages with their own picture. » It’s a default replacement for EA’s nude shoes (toddlers and children). » The files belong to the Package folder. » Your sim detail needs to be set to ‘High’ or ‘Very High’. » Polycount: LOD1: 2,049 (toddlers) ; 2,068 (children).
