I don't understand gay people who don't accept trans people.

We’re one and the same. Our heteronormative society restricts us to our biological functions, ironically dehumanizing everyone including themselves. We humans are capable of going beyond our physiology; the concepts of love and identity and living up to them are unique to us.

You went against the notion of biological sex the moment you realize you are attracted to the same sex. It only takes another step to understand why someone doesn’t “feel right” in the body they were born in – that the world tells them is supposed to be and do. It’s why women are historically more accepting of the LGBTQ community, because the same unjust and irrational standards are enforced upon them for millennia.
