truth is I never wanted to let you go

yet our lifeline snapped

at first i blamed you

then her

truth is i didn’t cope with our

breakup

i mean i cried

but i never dealt with it

i never told you

i wanted you to kiss me

so i knew what it felt like with you

i was more than sex

yet i understand why it kept coming up

because things might turn bad

well things did go south

and no one is to blame

the line just faded from site

truth is i still wonder about you

and don’t care what is said

you may not understand but your still my best friend

Judgment is all around me day after day

Same as for you

When we both met we were just living with broken ink hearts

Wondering when things would end each ink heart

God had other plans then that my friend

Can you see how perfect this time is

Being with you is a dream

Inside a dark nightmare

You have so much power

So you shared it with me

I’m a runner by trade

Unspoken

We have not spoken a word in months

Because words are not our best subject

In our relationship

Its an unspoken truth

So we get mad at each other

The moonlight is dim tonight

The moon is lonely when the stars are invisible

Just like your soul tonight

Because the world is falling in your arms

Yelling fix me

When in return you just wanted somebody

The pain of people walking on me like I’m a sidewalk

The world should be different

I’ve always been misunderstood

By people who walk.                                                                

I wasn’t too excited to be in your classroom.

I was thinking another teacher who wouldn't like me.

But I was wrong in so many ways.

You made the world have a bright spot.

I was ready to give up

And let the darkness win.

But you said I love you

And wont to see you fly in the wind

Just make something from this life

You have.

I said show me the way.

You had a huge grin on your face.
