I don't mind loving some things
On my own
As long as they take me far away
I'm fine

This resentment feels like
A dry stain
It's still here
But not like it was before
You can understand the words
But you don't understand the depth
Of them

I make everyone around me unhappy, don't I?
Everyone is unhappy because they depend on my love
And I have more love to give
So I try to go in another direction
To think about something else
To silence
Those hurtful voices

You bring smiles to my face
In the most unexpected moments
When I need them most

I really want to fall apart now
And rebuild myself
Put together
Piece by piece
But first I would need to
Break

So many opportunities were in my hand and I let go. If I had held on tighter, I would have lived.
So many right thoughts that I didn't give voice to, for fear of ruining them. Dreams. Now I live them in the safest place. Inside my head, where I never want to leave, where everything is possible. How sad.

You fall waiting until it's too late
You'll wait to be saved
Pain has a bitter taste
That became pleasurable
Over time
And you fall pushing everyone away until
You're alone
And it'll be too late

Being full of pain
Being so disconnected from yourself
And the others around you
That opens a bigger hole inside your chest
A black hole
That sucks all the light
And distorts
Leads you to dangerous uncertainties
Kills you

I let go of so many things
That I don't even remember them anymore
Things that were born in me
Things that became rooted
Things that fell like dead leaves
Dead memories
And not watered
At least not the right memories

A poem is something so intimate
It was made for me, and for you, and for everyone
But I feel that some poems
Were made
Especially for me

I find myself in books a lot. It seems like they are pieces of me, pieces that I can't see clearly, but when I read them, I understand.
It seems like they talk to me, telling me to be strong, and at first I even tried. The words got inside me and seemed to make changes, but it only seemed that way. After a while, the words no longer had any effect. Like a pill. At first, I was addicted to them. Then a different effect appeared, in fact, there was no effect at all.
I don't like anything I write. Nothing. Not a single part.

This poem is dedicated to you
Who likes happy endings
Even if you don't believe in them
Who likes to hear about
Romantic love
Even if you've never experienced it
Who marks each verse of a story
Who talks about how you feel

Like a body divided in two
There is a side of me that is fallen
Tired
And ready to give up
And the other side
Strong
Ready to fight
Resilient
And firmly holding the other side
Two in one
One side totally imperfect
And the other side with its beautiful features
Ready to fall and fight
Divided in two
One won't let go of the other
Two in one
That complete each other

Hit me
Hurt me
Make me feel something
Make my heart race with something
Even if it's fear
That thrill of the possibility of having you
Is stronger than having you around forever
Pain is...
It's skin and bones
You can see the ribs under the skin
With ease.
Stained by the horrors seen and heard
Hunger is the punishment
Food tastes like ash
When it touches your tongue
It makes you choke
And when it reaches your stomach
It burns
Like acid
But after a while
You get used to it
You're capable of getting used to anything
You just don't know it yet

One day at a time
One thing at a time
One moment at a time
A little at a time
Divide your time
Keep a balance
Don't swallow everything at once
Don't do everything at once
Respect your pace, even if it's a snail's pace
Live one day at a time, always in the present and not in the past or the future
Live in the present
If it's too hard to breathe, then suck in the air little by little. A little at a time.
Live life little by little
One day at a time

Little deaths at night
And the night
They don't draw dates
I noticed this while I was turning the pages
Maybe they didn't need to
They were born from a breath
And nothing more
And the night
And when its seductive call
Comes in the middle of the night
Always at night
I don't refuse to answer it
And when I obey
Without hesitation
As if I've been waiting for it
All day long
I feel like it steals a little from me
Every night
He takes a piece of me
I don't know which part
He doesn't seem to care either
Which part he's going to take
He just takes
And the night
I feel my skin tingle
As if something wants to get out
And destroy everything around
A power whispers to free itself
Because at night it becomes stronger
And at night
It has more freedom to shine
A light so bright it can blind
It wants to swallow everything and all
I bring them to ashes
And the night
It was only in it
That I gave myself completely
Demons on the loose
Outside the box where they stay locked
During the day
In silence
As if they knew that if they groaned
At night
They would kill them
