Master theory (Bethany Connection)

It’s almost 3am so please forgive me if it gets a bit messy and complicated.

Mary and Jessica in Ali’s story were fighting over a doll – this doll is Charles. To put it simple, Mary tricked or not tricked Ken into sleeping with her that resulted to Charles. Jessica found out but due to problems conceiving a baby before, she wanted to have the baby. They fought and Jessica being a manipulator, made it happen that Mary got locked away and got custody of Charles. This Charles was Cece who was born 30 years ago.

Mary had an affair with Scott (Aria’s mental uncle) whilst their stay in Radley they had a baby, but Mary had to leave and also left her child in the institution. She named him Charles again, from the grief of her past child. Charles was still so young he didn’t remember his real mother so when Mary visited both him and Scott he automatically assumed it was Jessica Dilaurentis, the board member of Radley who is married – thus the mention of the affair in the tapes.

Take note: First charles was born 30 years ago (there was the adoption certificate somewhere named Charles dilaurentis) Second Charles birth certificate was found in Radley (she was born there and Mary was admitted there 25 years ago)

(Charles stayed in Radley because Scott’s mental illness was passed down to her and she was also diagnosed)

After Scott left Radley (not sure if he was married after or before), he had a baby with Ruth, a boy we know as Wren.

Scott probably visited Charles very often and brought Wren with him, thus Wren knowing about the existence of Charles/Bethany.

By the time, Charles became more and more like a girl, so on.

But after a few years, Scott died and Ruth (from Aria’s story) wasn’t fit to handle the children by herself, so Wren and Charles were given for adoption. They became Wren Kingston and Bethany Young. Bethany stayed at Radley, while Wren’s life remains questionable.

Cece was sent to Radley (since Ken did confirm they sent her away), meeting Bethany. But i think, she only transitioned for the sake of their plan to escape, since it seems a bit far fetched they were both Charles and both transgender.

“That night” –

Ali and Bethany were easily mistaken for eachother because Mary was Ali’s aunt and Mary was also Bethany’s mom thus related.

I read in one theory (i can’t find it anymore) that Cece and Bethany were not supposed to look like Ali, and I agree, i think Ali and Cece were meant to look like Bethany.

Jessica was the one to push Marion Cavanaugh the night she allegedly committed suicide, for whatever reason, which is why she was also the one to cover it up and rule it as suicide. But before that, she pinned it on Bethany who saw everything, because of course who would they believe - a mental patient or a board member? So she started to bribe her like giving her out privileges and take her horse riding, where she meets Melissa. Also out privileges could have given her the means to transition.

Bethany still at that time didn’t know about Mary’s existence, and still thought Jessica had an affair with her late father. So more hatred – on the tapes. Maybe Jessica (since people are easily bribed and she is a member) got a hand of her tapes and was scared the truth about Marion will come out. So she had a plan.

Cece that time still didn’t know the truth about her birth and still listened to Jessica. She obliged to her plan to give Bethany a yellow top, and convinced her to escape “that night” to eventually kill her. Jessica intentionally gives Ali the same yellow top, knowing she would still go out that night, so there would be three yellow tops running around Rosewood that night – messing up the leads to Bethany’s whereabouts for the future case.

Cece met Melissa along the way, for some reason they were also friends, and told her about their plan. Which was why she easily buried Bethany because she was helping her friend.

All got fucked when Cece “mistakenly” hit Alison instead (that was not a lie during 6x10) – “what have you done?”. Mary comes out and Jessica finds out that Cece was a double agent and knew of her identity for some time now. Mary buried Alison alive as a revenge to Jessica wanting to kill her daughter.

Whilst, Bethany was also hit (killer still unknown). I believe Mona lied to cover up the motives of the higher ups since she is also part of the A-team.

This is where Aria comes in. Bethany’s cousin. They had a sleepover that night and she was with the Liars. The next day she found out her cousin was dead, she KNEW the Liars had to do something with it since she was with them she knew something shady happened.

-A messages started when she came back, because she started it all. She wanted revenge, thus blackmailing the Liars.

Wren is a part of this, because she is Bethany’s half brother. He also wanted to avenge her death.

In one of the deleted scenes, Wren picked up Aria. And we NEVER saw them together in scenes, so isn’t it weird? Screams A-business.

This all leads back to Bethany. She is the main mystery, not Alison. And this theory also connects the Liars too so yeah. Both Mary’s children have been taken away from her, both Charles, and naturally she wanted revenge because they believe the Liars had something to do with Bethany’s and now Cece’s too. @catching-a @thepllgeist @charleswkingston @chxrleskingston

RANDOM UBER A/TWIN PREDICTION - THEORY (PLEASE CONTRIBUTE WITH CLUES)

OKAY GUYS THIS IS GONNA BE A MESS BUT THIS IS SPONTANEOUS SO PLS FORGIVE ME, ALSO FEEL FREE TO ADD TO THIS THEORY

RIGHT LETS BEGIN

I believe Jessica DiLaurentis has/had a twin.

Let’s start with the twin story in 2x13:

The twins are in a very vintage kinda old looking kitchen and their parents have very old styled fashion - maybe the story is from Jessica’s childhood hence why the style is so old.

Alison told the story “this is how I heard the story” maybe passed down by her mother???

I believe after Jessica’s twin stabbed her she was sent to Radley, and Jessica felt bad so when she was old enough she visited her sister all the time.

Bethany Young:

This has no real proof but maybe Jessica had a twin with Jason/Ali I know the ages wouldn’t work but this is spontaneous thinking - maybe the twin was Bethany, and Jessica gave her to her twin?? Maybe that’s why Bethany was placed in Radley so her mother had someone to love? Maybe this could explain why Bethany hated Ali “she’s a bitch, she’s an evil bitch” etc. This would also explain why Bethany called Jessica “aunt Jessie”

Marion’s Death:

This could possibly fix the whole issue with the timings of Marion’s death. I am theorising that it was Jessica’s twin who killed Marion and Jessica covered it up and persuaded Cece to lie for her - say it was Bethany?

The Night Ali Disappeared:

I believe the night Ali got hit with the rock Bethany AND Jessica’s twin escaped Radely. Maybe Bethany was truly writing Alison those letters and acting friendly so that Alison presumed Bethany liked her. I think Jessica’s twin wanted to kill Jessica and Bethany wanted to kill Ali as both got the life’s the others never had? However Charlotte/Cece must have discovered their plan and had hit Alison with the rock thinking she was Bethany? I believe it was Jessica’s twin who witnessed this and pretended to be Jessica and bury Alison

Then at the end of the night I think Jessica’s twin somehow got the real Jessica sent back to Radley. However as Jessica’s twin didn’t know what happened to Bethany she had to try to find her. And so she started

THE A GAME:

I believe Jessica’s twin has been involved with A from the start? Maybe she knew how Ali treated Mona and got Mona to stalk the girls to see if they had something to do with Bethany disappearing. And maybe after a while Jessica’s twin got Cece involved and told her Ali was alive to get her to help?? - idk

But after Mona gained trust with her leader (who I believe she didn’t know) she told them she must have been the one to kill Bethany - Mona knew Ali was alive and then Jessica’s twin was so angry she tried to kill Mona in the lodge fire?

Jessica’s return:

I think the real Jessica escaped Radley and was the one to kill Jessica’s twin, and maybe after Charlotte found her the real Jessica stepped into view and told her it was the real her. That’s why Charlotte was okay with burying Jessica because it was her twin - real Jessica was the one filming the video?

CECE IS A:

Now I think to cover up the whole past Cece falsely confessed to being A to make people think Jessica was dead and Jessica’s twin never existed - all the plot holes idk??

CHARLOTTES DEATH:

I believe now that Charlotte was killed Jessica has come out of hiding to find her killer and bring them to justice as Charlotte helped her escape and stay gone etc. - saying she was A

And maybe that’s why in 6x20 when the twin is revealed Alison thinks she has gone insane as Jessica is meant to be dead???

IDK THIS IS SUCH A MESS AND I KINDA THOUGHT OF NEW THINGS AS I WENT - I HONESTLY WOULD PREFER SOMETHING TO DO THIS BUT I FEEL IT COULD ANSWER ALOT OF QUESTIONS

BAD = 214

Recently I've been rewatching PLL and in 1x16 the liars decode (at least try to) a braille message found in Jenna's room. Initially they think the code means 'BAD'

It instantly reminded me of the 6x15 promo where a floor plan of Radley which shows Charlotte supposedly stayed in room 214

However I feel maybe this ‘map’ doesn't show Radley, as mental sanatoriums don’t tend to have massage rooms (I think). I dont know really what the point of this is but as Marlene has been referring to ‘Uber A’ as ‘Big Bad’ I thought it felt someone significant???

IDK IM NOT VERY GOOD AT THEORIES BUT ADD TO THIS WHAT YOU THINK?

Red-Sweater?

Some people have been theorizing that this is Charlotte walking into the church the night she died:

But after re-watching a few promos and episodes etc.. We don’t believe the girl in the ‘Red-Sweater’ is Charlotte.

Notice in this picture:

This picture shows Charlotte’s dead body, and its clear she isn't wearing anything with sleeves, unlike the girl in the red-sweater. Maybe she took the sweater off or maybe we’re over-analysing, but ‘nothing on PLL is a coincidence’ so we don’t believe the blond girl in the red-sweater is Charlotte, but most-likely the person who killed or helped kill her.

We believe that whoever this girl in the red-sweater is, either killed Charlotte or had something to do with her murder.

Now, for who we think could be this girl in the red-sweater:

Suspect Number 1: Alison DiLaurentis 

This one may be far fetched, but a lot of the PLL community have been theorizing that Ali may have had something to do with Charlotte’s murder. Due to Charlotte holding the same flowers pictured below:

I think Alison killing Charlotte could be a possibility, maybe Alison was annoyed at Charlotte for manipulating the liars - who she used to manipulate herself, and was willing to kill Charlotte in revenge. Although a good explanation could justify Ali killing Charlotte we personally believe the producers wouldn't risk a much-loved character turning out to be evil in the fear of upsetting fans, and so we personally think the chances of Alison being ‘red-sweater’ is un-likely.

Suspect Number 2: Sara Harvey

Who else than our favourite ‘Red-coat’ could possibly have something against Charlotte? 

Sara Harvey. Of course we have been told Sara was helping Charlotte torture the liars, but we don’t know if Dre is just a bad actress or did she seem really rude to Charlotte most of the time? Like she was being forced into something. Maybe Sara’s excuse of Stockholm Syndrome is actually true, and Sara either wanted revenge for what Charlotte did to her, or may hold Charlotte accountable for whatever happened to her hands? On the point of her hands, the woman in the ‘red-sweater’ hands are showing and open to the air which gives two possibilities:

1. Sara has been pretending her hand injury - maybe they recovered over time but she still pretends they’re injured (another parallel with Jenna and her eye sight?)

2. ‘Red-sweater’ isn't Sara Harvey

Of course it seems quite significant that the sweater is red, and all the possible suspects (so-far) have been associated with Red-coat - Charlotte, Ali, Sara

Overall, we think Sara Harvey is a strong candidate for ‘Red-sweater’, but I think we all hate whenever Sara is relevant so lets hope she isn’t a huge part to this mystery (sorry).

Suspect Number 3: Bethany Young/Bethany’s Twin?

Our final suspect is Bethany Young. We all know how much Bethany hated Charlotte. Although we have been told Bethany is dead, we find it hard to believe she doesn't have a bigger role in the story. We don’t have much evidence to back up Bethany as a suspect but we believe the rooftop scene in Radley is extremely significant, as Bethany is wearing a very similar red sweater.
