i’m so glad we’ve started to open up to the possibility that the MCI is pre-CC bite cuz i’ve been thinking this for a while (yeah kid can be traumatized by his brother being a dick, but still) and while i know no one likes to 1:1 everything, it was really solidified as a concept for me w vanessa’s thing in the movie considering i’m pretty sure the MCI kids are CC’s age so that would be a very intriguing parallel. like william doesn’t need a “good” motive, he can just be awful.

i love when characters suck and are bad people like the thing about murphy is that i liked him before he was the incredible wife guy (which is also pretty great, dont get me wrong) but like. i thought he was cool when he was a horrible jackass that everyone hated . like he was interesting before he got morals; he was interesting as a guy who gets lynched in a frontier justice display of retaliation for a murder because he just seems like the kind of dude who would murder someone. and he is! just not that dead guy, specifically. whereas the actual killer is a twelve-year-old girl who the whole crew spends the episode trying to proctect from any kind of punishment, while murph runs around trying and failing to get anyone to admit out loud that the only reason there's a difference between punishing him and punishing her is because he has a bad personality . and also the murders but at that point in the show he hadn't killed anyone, he just seemed like he would

also. so okay i added lady baskerville as a muse. i can't help myself (backstory under the cut)

the basic backstory i have for her is that she was raised a noble, but her parents were generally pretty shitty/neglectful to her. she often found herself frustrated with the way she was treated as a woman in society, and was eventually forced into an arranged marriage with a man who was abusive to her. everyone knew the man's true nature, but no-one did anyone to stop it, which led to her becoming bitter and cynical about people.

she was offered a chance to be freed from her marriage if she became an assassin for some high up house or another, and gladly took the chance, feeling it was her only way out and not caring if she had to kill innocents to get it - after all, if no-one had tried to help her, why should she care about them? and since it allowed her to live, she pushed any concerns she may have had aside.

she eventually met a young woman who she actually bonded with, and betrayed the people she was working for when she was ordered to kill her. she basically went solo and chose her own targets after that, but eventually met klint, and slowly started to stop her work as an assassin altogether as she got to know him.

THE PROBLEM IS I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE ERA TGAA TAKES PLACE IN OR HOW ASSASSINS WORK/WORKED LMAO so this may be. WAY off/inaccurate and in dire need of changing... i'd love to hear thoughts on what needs changing if you feel that that's the case! but that's mostly what i've got at the moment.

Debating if I should post a spoiler for you guys for another chapter series I’m making

I’ll give you guys a little explanation of how it’s going to work: each chapter is with two different characters, one being a monster/spirit from Japanese urban legends/folklore, and one being a human who has to survive.

And who knows? If I’m feeling nice, I’ll let them live. If not? Well, I’m just saying one of y’all’s favorite characters might get bodied-

I already have most of the first chapter laid out, along with who the monster/spirit will be, but I need to pick a human for it. 😭

I want it to be someone from the Kamaboko squad but I can’t choose lol

Also this series might be long- if y’all stick with me through all of it then y’all are real ones frfr love you guys 🙏
