What I ate yesterday 😋huge cabbage and romaine salad with veggies and a veggie burger, rice cakes with pb apples and cinnamon, tomato/chickpea curry with brown rice, and oatmeal with maple syrup vanilla and cinnamon that I mixed with hot water at work.

Fully stocked fridge + meal prep 😎 I prepped some quinoa salads, extra quinoa, Israeli salad with chickpeas (great snack on its own but with some mixed greens it makes a good lunch and with some quinoa it could be a nice light dinner), my favorite lentil soup, and homemade instant oatmeal packets.

Prepped a few salads for the rest of the week. Quinoa, sunflower seeds, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, shredded carrots, grilled corn, spinach, and green onions. I forgot to add beans so I went back and did that, too. I’ll probably dice up some avocado and add it each morning because if I pack it now it’ll go brown :( I also packed little containers of salad dressing.

After yoga I had an orange, as planned. But when I got home I subbed out my scheduled soup + 2 figs for nice cream + 1 fig, 3 dates.
1.5 frozen bananas + ¼ cup almond milk + vanilla + 1 tsp cocoa powder = chocolate nice cream 😛🍫🍦
1.5 frozen bananas + ¼ cup almond milk + vanilla + strawberry flavoring + ¼ cup frozen berries = strawberry nice cream 😎🍓🍨
This was split between me and my roomie.
Bananas are high in potassium and magnesium so they make a great post workout snack as they help muscles recover and relax and help you get to sleep. They also contain an amino acid that is turned into melatonin and serotonin in your brain. Yay! 🍌👩🔬
