okay so this has been showing up in my 'for you' tab for over a month and a few days ago I was like fine okay, you wore me down, I'll finally watch hxh '99

It's been a weird experience not being able to write these past few weeks. Since 2009, I have been pretty consistent with writing fanfic, only pausing for 3 months in 2014, when I started taking a new medication that made me ambivalent to most everything including writing. Other than that I have always written something. I might not have posted anything for long periods of time, but I would be slowly working on things. But now I am unable to use my laptop and I am unable to type on my phone. It's been weird and it's forced me to pause when before I never could.

I've always had a love/hate kind of relationship with writing fic. I like it but it also causes me a lot of stress so I am not experiencing that stress right now. But I'm also experiencing the stress of not being able to be creative (and the stress of physical pain)so it's not great. This is the worst flare-up I've ever had. I'm pretty sure the medial branch block is what triggered this, but I also think the warning signs of writing too much at my standing desk, feeling the warnings of pain and ignoring them is why I am in my current state. Should I write once I get better? Maybe I should try and find some other things to do that don't irritate my condition so much. idk idk.
