sooo i was going to spend this time fixing up my blog but, i went to the bookstore and bought a shit ton of books. so that is where i shall be for the next year and a half

“No, he won’t be okay. That isn’t him. I know my brother too well to know that he never would act like this. Not to me.” Hayden replied, shaking her head lightly. She couldn’t sit by and watch her brother slowly lose his mind. “You can sit here and try to stop me but either way, I have to talk to him. As my friend, you have to understand that, whatever this is, he needs me.” With that, Hayden tried to move past Art, hoping that she would understand.

       “You’re right he’s your brother, but until he calms down from whatever the hell is         happening to him I’m making sure you steer clear.” Artemis didn’t flinch from her         words. She only stood her ground refusing to get out of the way, “What happens         to you is my concern. I don’t want you to get hurt, I can’t let that happen. You’re         my friend so please just – stop. He’ll be okay.”

“Last I checked Felix was my brother. MY problem.” Hayden replied back, “What happen’s to me is none of your concern. So, I’m not saying it again Artemis. Move.”

      “I’m stopping you. You could get hurt and I can’t let that happen, Hayden.”        Artemis’ arms stayed crossed over her chest as she tried to appear tough.

tbh this is probably how hayden looks 99.999% of the time. Sometimes even worse but she always had some scar, cut or bruise. All the girls did and most of the boys as well.

Hayden’s features softened when her eyes landed on Ellie. She barely even heard Alo’s words of his sister. Hayden rose to her feet, instantly going over and wrapping her arms tightly around her. “Hey...” She muttered softly before pulling away to look at her, cupping her child’s face in her hands. “Are you okay?” She had to ask, it was her job as a mother to make sure Ellie was alright. She didn’t look hurt, but, still it wasn’t just physically okay that Hayden was worried about.

Alo rolled his eye’s.  “Always so demanding…. Sami bring her in please.” He called to the door but the smoke materlized and a girl roughly Alo’s height with the same hair and eye’s stood there holding Ellie’s hand.  Sami smiled at Ellie.  “It’s real this time, I promise.” She assured her.

“This is Sami, my twin sister.” Alo mentioned, “Our parents kept her and sent me away… or should I say our mother.” Sami shot Alo a weary glance and he held his hands up in defense.  “Ellie go to your mother.” Alo stated and Ellie ran over to Hayden wrapping her arms around her.  “Mom!” She exclaimed.

“Our daughter doesn’t like you? Strange.” Hayden retorted sarcastically, leaning back in her chair. “The only reason I came is because of Ellie so, whatever you want, tell me now.” Hayden was honestly becoming sick of the constant torture. He used Ellie against her too much and she was about ready to explode.

“Ellie is perfectly fine, she’s with my better half.  Ellie seems to favor her prescence more then mine.. So I let her handle it.” He explained with a simple wave of his hand.  “I promised you she’d come to no harm as long as she stays in my care and I may be many things but I always stay true to my word.”

“You know, you bring up Ellie all the time, however I have yet to see her like you promised.” Hayden replied back in a snarky tone, glaring towards the other. “I’m enjoying it. I’d rather just skip all the fake bull shit.”

“And here I was trying to be nice.” Alo stated looking at Hayden from across the table.  “You know Ellie worked hard to prepare this meal for you.” He added, “You can at least act like you enjoy it.”
