I’ve mentioned this before (along with put information on a page (Make Money) on my Tumblr) but if you write notes, you really should be uploading them to Oneclass! It’s super easy, I just scan them in the library right after class and upload them that night. I’ve already made my first $10 gift card and only half way through this term!  I decided to splurge and use my gift card towards some of the Japanese .5mm Pilot Frixion Knock pens. (eventually, I’ll have all the needlepoint ones as well, and the light/soft highlights). I’m so excited to get them Friday. I’m going to use this as my coffee shop study (Starbucks) or stationery treat-yo-self money. Need for More Women in STEM

….It’s astonishing how much need there is for inspiration for females when it comes to school. Regardless of gender, and test scores, female students tend to have lower self-concept in math than their male counterparts. WHY? You know what helps though? Female role models presented to these girls, more females in STEM majors and careers, and more damn female STEM based teachers! Let’s smash down the male dominance in these fields and even it out some more. Girls don’t choose these careers because they feel like it, they do it because they don’t feel good enough.  And this is why my Psychology Final is about Raising Female Student’s Self-Concept in Math.
