Playing his own theme 🎼

While my attachment to Viktor over the past 3 years is obviously due to his character, his evolution (glorious, shall we say) over the course of the series and his chara-design, it's also the music which accompanies him that has moved me.

His "theme" can be summed up in a curious and melancholic melody, usually played on the violin (which you can hear clearly in "The Toy Boat" from S1's score). These few notes recur regularly in the series, reshaped according to the scenes and their stakes. And I love it.

I wanted both to pay tribute to my favorite Arcane character, but also to the score, which is just masterful 💙

I thought violin really suits him (as long as he's sitting or partially leaning when he plays it, because the poor guy wouldn't be able to stand up otherwise...)

I used the reference of his "hidden spot" for background and light atmosphere.

Imagine walking around the Academy and hearing that melody, fading as the sun goes down...

🔸️Ocarina Of Time 3D was my very first TLOZ experience, I discovered it 10 years ago, completely unconscious of the impact that these three golden triangles would have to my childhood.

Since then, I'm obsessed. Games, music (omfg the m u s i c ), books, art, manga...Anything to do with it, even a little, gets my attention.

This drawing's just a tribute to all these years, to little me who would probably EXPLODE seeing it. And for this particular Link, who has an heartbreaking fate 💀...

I'm aware that the people who follow me somehow expect Good Omens stuff. I'm actually working on a GO animatic so I focus the energy on it :)

However, I don't want my account to be exclusively about Good Omens, so don't be surprised if I post art about video games, anime or even fantasy. I'll still do GO art of course.

My pleasure is still to share my art with people in the end 🫶🏻

I've just got my diploma, after a well-executed oral exam. It's been a long time since I felt so relaxed.

I've never felt so much the need to draw for myself :)

So... I'm back to Tumblr with my old habits hehe, I really missed drawing our ineffable lovers.

I don't usually insert myself into my sketchbook, but I just turned 21 a few days ago, and wanted to give myself a small present :)

So this is for the child I was, who naively had two dreams : to have wings and to study astronomy by exploring space.

When I saw the first scene of Good Omens S2, my inner child was sooo overjoyed... I remember crying a lot :')

Crying firstly because we were discovering Crowley as an Angel, crying because of excitement, but also because we were witnessing a scene in space with a "star maker looking" character. Of course, I already liked Crowley hugely ! The series/book and it's characters brings me tons of happiness since 2019. I've become very attached to it as I've grown up.

There are things like that which carry you along and become kind of comfort places. Drawing allows me to realise those little scenarios that sometimes run through my head. It may sound silly. They're fictional, unrealizable, but they're there.

Thanks to them for inspiring me and keeping me dream, because sometimes, even for a short moment, it feels good to escape reality.

Aziraphale stands there, a thin tear rolling down his cheek, too petrified with fear and guilt to speak. He brings a trembling hand up to his mouth, but Crowley moves quickly enough to grasp it gently before it can reach its destination.

He places an unfailingly gentle kiss on it, hoping that this gesture will ease the torment of their last meeting. The demon whispers to his angel, eye to eye, his hand still in his.

- We're going to do this together, like we've always done. Just you and me."

Their eyes cry out love once again, the love they've stifled and repressed for 6,000 years until they can't stand it any more. And amidst the tears, a shy and touching smile emerges.

In that moment, each of them soothed by their own presence, they would have given anything to stay there for eternity.

(Yep I usually do traditional drawings, but at 3AM I was inspired and made all of this, and as I'm on holiday I took the opportunity to do a bit of digital drawing...)
