We need her back. ;w;
I was wondering if you could tell me about your Pokemon Trainer OC! I'd love to know more about her! What inspired her appearance, Her personality, the type of Pokemon she chose, does she had a type she mainly uses? Ect
Of course!
So here’s a bit more about Sarha! (Under the cut!)
Her appearance - Here’s a post about how her appearance changed through the year ‘cause I think it’s funny x/D [Here!]Please keep in mind I was a child when I first drew her, haha! I actually started drawing with her! So her look was just Sacha (Satoshi/Ash) with biiiig long pigtails because I was a baby who thought big long pigtails are cute (Istillfinditcute (imstillbabyisuppose)).But then I grew up and she became more her own self. I cut her hair short (she didn’t have the two little weird pigtail things x/D It’s funny, this came because, drawing her so much, I started drawing a little curvy line that over the time took the form of pigtails. Just a random line that became stronger and stronger until it was part of her hairstyle!)
She usually wears red, black, white and yellow.
Her personality - She’s a strong girl, cheerful, optimistic, she doesn’t like to be told she can’t do something, she has a lot of energy, she’s strong with her legs (good kicks! xD), knows how to fight but is more interested in helping, caring, reassuring. She can be a bit susceptible but she’s a good natured girl! Laughing and jumping and everything. She’s a very bad singer!! (Her voice is Takeuchi Junko, so I basically just hear this when I imagine her singing [LINK!] ) I picked Takeuchi Junko as her voice because I enjoy Sarha having a deep “shounen anime boy” voice, she speaks like a boy, she has a “boy’s voice” (not that Takeuchi Junko has a boy’s voice but, I imagine Sarha’s voice like she dubs boys! x/D )She was a Pokemon Trainer but became a Pokemon Ranger, because she felt better helping people and Pokemon than battling.
Also, I talked a bit about Sarha here if you want more ovo
She’s from Masara Town (Pallet Town) in Kanto. Her father is from Kanto and her mother from Kalos (which makes her the Pokemon version of half Japanese half French? xD And I like this!), she has a big brother who lives in Kalos with her mother while Sarha lives with her father.
The type of Pokemon she has - Her main Pokemon is a girl Flareon she calls Pyroli. It’s her first Pokemon and they’re a bit like sisters x3 She has a baby Skitty she found as an egg. The little girl isn’t battling, she just sleeps in Sarha’s hood and gets out to eat berries. She has a Shinx named Sato, who feels like the “man of the family” and protects others but is really just a little boy ;v; She has a Litleo, Shishiko, who’s always doing dumb things.
She had a lot of others too but those are her main Pokemon. She has a Litten, for example, who’s very protective. She has an Alolan Vulpix, a shiny Sylveon boy called Kalel. She also has a strong bond with Shaymin and Suicune (who helps her as a Ranger, because Suicune also cares about helping others).
Does she have a type she mainly uses - Not necessarily but she tends to like Fire types the most in general.
I hope this answers your questions~ Otherwise I’m always happy to answer hehe!

How do I get GTA IV/EFLC to work on PC in 2020?
I recently decided to replay the GTA-games I used to play.
3, Vice City and San Andreas worked like a charm, especially with some of the fanmade fixes. :D
But now, coming to GTA IV and DLC episodes...
I'm honestly at my wits end. No matter what I tried, I just can't get this game to work.
Starting it legit, the game would either constantly fail to start, because the Securom process fails due to its age, or the Play Offline function doesn't work, aka it doesn't start the game.
And then, when I've had enough of these overblown DRM-mechanics preventing me from playing, doing mods, cracks, etc. doesn't work either. If I try to run the game, either a command console window appear and closes automatically shortly after without anything else happening...
Or the game would crash during first few seconds, when those Rockstar Symbols are shown...
Or in one instance, the game runs the intro cutscene, I get a drunken camera near the end of the intro cutscene and as soon as I gain control, the game crashes...
I tried every fix and method the internet would throw at me, but nothing works.
So does anybody know how to get this game working? Seriously, why do the older 3D-era games work so well and yet this game just won't? X_X

You know what I love about Resident Evil?
That they actually have a believable explanation for all the shit that's happening in these games. Greedy, corrupt humans created a virus, that happened to leak and now it turns humans into feral, voracious man-eaters. It's one of the reasons I really got into the series. Because it actually bothers explaining shit. Unlike your average horror movie, where this random, supernatural force kills people for... reasons...?

How do you Pixel Art/Game Sprites?
After my last two drawings, I wanted to do something to work towards my goal of making games again. However, my recent experiments didn't prove very fruitful. X_X I don't know why, but for some reason, whenever I'm attempting Pixel Art for 2D-games... I just can never get it to look right. X_X I'm always so easily stumped, whenever I'm trying to make a simple sprite. How do you guys do it? What is your process of making a sprite? I really would like a helping hand here I really want to make a game. But I can't if I keep hitting blocks like this. Please...?

Artist’s Self Disappointment: When the Mind is productive, but the body is not... X_X
Recently, I have become self-aware to some of my weaknesses. What I realized about myself, is that I barely ever have the drive to do anything productive... Unless I'm at a job and am being told what to do. In which case I have the drive and I follow orders perfectly, no questions asked and no hesitation. It looks I only ever have the drive to do anything, if it's following clearly defined instructions. But if I'm completely on my own, without anyone giving me orders, I simply don't do anything productive. At least rarely. That only counts for my body though. My mind is very productive and constantly comes up with ideas for video games and what-not. I love imagining things and all the amazing games that I could make. And I'm honestly disappointed in myself, that I simply don't have the physical drive to do anything with these ideas. I'm clearly a person of the mind. And not a person of the body. So I'm wondering... What could be done to change this? How could I give my body the drive it needs to get really productive and draw or program? I rarely draw. Wheras other artists here and anywhere spend hours upon hours drawing... I only spend 1 hour a day tops. And these days it's only late at night, before going to bed. At day, I simply don't have the drive to do it. I just play video games or watch YouTube videos, during that time. If I even draw to begin with. Sometimes I spent at most an hour drawing before going to bed. And then I won't do it again for a couple days. It's frustrating really... X_X So what can I do? Do you have an idea?

Mental Health at an all-time low
Seriously, these stupid internet arguments are mentally draining me. DIsagreemnts eventually end with a massive gang-up and having my opinions declared "objectively wrong". And once I have a mental breakdown and explain how much these interactions are draining me, people have zero empathy and attack me over this as well. Like saying I am "weakling" or I have a "victim complex". Why are people always so predatory and destructive?

Question: Are Legendary Pokemon a Problem?!
Did anyone here ever feel bothered by legendary Pokemon and how powerful they are? Me personally, not really. But recently, I came across some individual, who believes legendary Pokemon are a problem, because they're so much more powerful and power pressure forces everyone to use them. So they should be either made uncatchable or balanced to make them just as powerful as normal Pokemon. (And since they can't change this in Pokemon now, they're now pushing for it in Temtem, but that's beside the point.) So yeah, did anyone here ever think legendary Pokemon were a big problem? Or did that never bother you?

Byleth-Players, we need to talk!
I really, really, REALLY don't like, how some of you are constantly mocking and provoking those, who disliked Byleth's inclusion. Not just the extremists who took it too far, but also those who were reasonable and had legitimate reasons to dislike it. Sometimes it feels like players who play Byleth, only do so to spite and mock the dislikers. As if disagreeing with all of it, makes them sub-human. I'm not defending those, who took things too far. People who called for Sakurai's head or his dismissal or any scummy shit like that. That's stupid and people who get extreme like that, need to be put into their place, no matter where they come from. But don't drag those into it, that aren't like this and dislike for legitimate reasons. If you like Byleth and are excited to have him in Smash, that's great. But please understand that someone who doesn't give a shit about Fire Emblem (like me) will probably not like Byleth. I have my reasons to dislike Byleth: - He just didn't have the impact/legacy all the other FP-fighters had Joker was from a critically acclaimed RPG. And Dragon Quest Hero, Banjo-Kazooie and Terry Bogard are all characters with history and whose games have a massive legacy. Compared to them, Byleth doesn't feel very important. - Byleth feels like a brand deal A character that was included to promote a game, rather than produce happy costumers. Just like Corrin in Smash 4. - Fire Emblem overrepresentation Of course, this is the classic low-hanging fruit. But I still think there is merit in that. Why did this series, which already had massive representation, need another character? Fire Emblem has the 3rd highest amount of characters in the game and received so much more love than other series represented in the game. The only ones above Fire Emblem are Mario and Pokemon. But those I can actually understand. Pokemon is the highest-grossing franchise of all time and Mario is Nintendo's flagship series. Fire Emblem on the other hand, is not nearly as big as Legend of Zelda, Metroid, etc. And yet it received so much more love and accurate representation, than a lot of the series above it in relevance. Why is that? I will give Byleth something though: Him and Corrin are much more unique characters, than most of the other Fire Emblem characters. And when the next Smash game comes around, I hope they will keep Corrin and Byleth, but cut most of the other Fire Emblem characters. IMO, I think the only essential characters are Marth (the one who started it all) and Robin, Corrin and Byleth, for their unique movesets. But that's just me. Either way, Byleth has become somewhat is a symbol of spite and anti-criticism to me. So answer me this, honestly: Do you play Byleth because you genuinely like that character? Or do you use him as a symbol to mock those who dislike his inclusion?

Temtem and the Vitriol
So recently, I've been checking out Temtem. And it looks very good. An obvious love letter to the concept of Pokemon and mon-games in general. Considering to buy it, once the full release comes. However, while the overall reception of the game seems to be very positive, even outperforming initial expectations... A lot of the hardcore Pokemon-Fans seem to be very vitriolic and spiteful towards this game. Either they nitpick over designs and graphics (which is understandable in this case, since, unlike Game Freak, this is an actual small indie-studio with little experience)... Or they flat out call this a heartless cashgrab that shouldn't exist, in an obvious attempt to kill this game. Either way, this is straight up petty and a huge disservice to this game. While I can agree that the graphics aren't the best, I also keep in mind that this isn't a AAA-dev. So I am very willing to give them the time they need to grow and develop. Seriously, people aren't instantly masters. Let them stumble and experience failure, to properly learn and naturally become better, instead of condemning every imperfection in this world that disagrees with us, for Christ's Sake! As for the cashgrab argument: This game is supposed to be a love letter to the mon-genre and the people in charge obviously care. So no, this isn't a heartless cash-grab. It's a product of love and care (and limited experience admittedly). I will admit that some people set the bar for this game way too high. Like declaring this game to be a "Pokemon Killer", which frankly it won't be. But that doesn't mean this is a bad game. It'll have its place in the gaming world, and it's a good substitude for those, who wish Pokemon were way better and reach its full potential. I will definitely consider this game to be a good Pokemon-Substitude for myself, as someone who, by now, can only get full enjoyment out of Pokemon by playing romhacks or fangames, which are mostly way better than the main line games IMO. Pokemon has pretty much settled for mediocrity, knowing they can easily survive on brand recognition alone and by appealing to the lowest common denominator. The world of Pokemon is a very special place, the most welcoming and idyllic world in gaming that I can think of, full of cutesy and badass creatures you could have as your companion-pets, take em with you on an adventure and do awesome things with. Of course this resonates well with people, especially those who are animal lovers. And in the end, they become so dependant on this world and everything it has to offer, that they turn off their critical thinking and, if worst comes to worst, even develop some sort of "Stockholm Syndrome" for the games. Marking the beginning of blind loyalty and stagnation, paving the way to regression. But yeah, I think Temtem is a flawed, but good game. And I let the developers grow and improve, giving them ample time to do so. I know the game is an Early Access. But I rather wait for the full release. Still I wish the developers the best of luck and hope they can realize the full potential of their game (which Pokemon never did, sadly). ;) And don't let other people that speak up against this game (cough VerlisorMangakamen cough) cloud your judgment. Check out the game and make your own decisions. :)
