So irritated with crazy people right now. My poor baby Goober went to his new family Friday evening. I dont know what they did to him but they called me last night and said he is nothing like I described. Said he wouldnt stop crying and that he couldn't even walk. That I was trying to scam them and there was alot of yelling by this women, i dont even want to go into detail about. Me I was desperately concerned with one thing. What was wrong with my baby!!?? They just finaly brought him to the vet didnt even come in just handed him to me in the parking lot and left. My poor boy has goopy crusty eyes, was shaking all over and was crying continuously. Vet cant find anything physically wrong with him, oh and he can walk just fine. It took me an hour to get him to stop shaking and crying. He is home now giving everyone kisses, he had a snack and is running around like he never left. Its So sad that he cant tell me what happened to him, why he was so freaked out and upset. Just happy that he is back with us safe, he is a great little pig and I explain very clearly to everyone that having a pet pig is not like a dog or cat its like a perpetual toddler. They are very demanding, mischievous, can be destructive if not unsupervised , they like a set schedule, they get fussy when they are tired, fussy when they are hungry and are known to throw ear splitting tantrums if they dont get what they want. I have never and will never sugar coat being a piggy parent. I regularly tell people they need a dog or cat , not a pet pig. I have told a few people to get a fish! Its extra sad when the piglet is so disturbed by being away only 70 hours. So upset for multiple reasons. For starters a dark blue toyota coming around a curve on Hegar rd in Waller Tx was in both lanes and either Papa Bear on his motorcycle would of hit them head on or he had to take the ditch. So ditch it was since grass is softer then a car hood. Of course the toyota kept on going not knowing if anyone was dead, alive, injured and needing medical help or what. Then the Waller County State Trooper arrives and just gives us a report to fill out OURSELVES as he tells us "you know we will never find that car, right?". When the heck do we at citizens in a motor vehicle accident have to fill out and turn in our own accident reports?? So very mad at the person who ran Papa Bear off the road and didnt stop to help him as well as the trooper who is to busy or lazy to do his job!! We are at the hospital now getting xrays of his wrist and tail bone area which are both hurting him. He has scrapes on his arms, shoulder , knee and the top of his shoe was scraped off down to his toe which is scraped as well. All that said we are very Lucky, extremly blessed, he had a helmet on and really it could be so much worse. #jaxthegiantpoodle was a hit at the market as well as a gentleman especially for only being 4 months old. He showed a lot of peolle all the comands he knows right up until we were leaving and he sat perfectly then gave me a high five when I asked for ine. He then shook my hand but when I gave the down command he just kept trying to give high 5 and total ignored the up comnand were he puts his front feet up on me and stands up on him back legs.
