Victoria, Victoria, Victoria. omg she gave such MAAAAAJOR trouble, I'm not as happy with her core manifest as I am with her Energix but ultimately, I just find that that's the nature of designing the base form.

i wanted to play around with the snake aspect of her magic, venoms and serpents coming to mind when thinking about elixir's so i added some scaling and tried to play around with the snake imagery.

Vicky's Talisman, (which is meant to be a sort of Chinese hairpin / headdress) The Cobra's crown allows her influence over things like the state of ones physical health, sensations in the nervous system and pain reactions as well as boosted healing spells...which she doesn't use all too often.

honestly I had so much fun designing these for my story, obviously lots of winx inspo but I got the idea to give witches wings from @drops-of-moonlights and look of Lila partially from @emsartwork take on darcy Aswell as @butterfly-winx transformation design philosophy, idk i just love my winxy au writers. I've got some ideas I will be touching on for witches *cough cough talisman* but that's a topic for later.

Lila's Talisman, (which for context is an item which witches in my story use to channel strong emotions or energies tethered to their core magic) is her belt which is dubbed the "Midnight Eye". with it she has enhanced divination, foresight and illusion spells.

Backstory:

Born to her mother Suzhen and father Hao Mingyùn, Victoria spent her life being groomed for one thing and one thing only, power. Raised in a city off the coast of the fallen remnants of serpentine on the planet Ophis, Vicky prior to her own birth was expected to be a wielder of great magic and fated to be the second rise of the witch of Envy, Leviathan. The remnants of the cult of Leviathan were so subtly ingrained in the Mingyùn family that nearly every child born in the family was a magic user, a poison source magic user to specify. Her grandmother had even been so powerful as to create the most intense of poison spells as to stop a heart within a single touch. As of her birth however her father would be disappointed, discovering his child prematurely born and suffering some form of a magic deficiency. With such a weak girl, how could she possibly be his child, how would she possibly be the reincarnation of a witch capable of destroying and banishing an entire realm…she was weak…a failure. So soon enough Hao would ensure an heir to a legacy he could be proud of. Around the age of 9 Vicky had grown stronger, seemingly being a healthy little girl aside from her lack of magic, she would spend her days with her mother who had taken up the task of being the girls sole source of love as her father and his side of the family didn't seem to care enough to even look her way. At the time, Hao had been focused on his son, Vicky’s little brother, Bo. oh how she loved him dearly, before every magic lesson with her father she’d take him to the family gardens and play with him, running around and laughing. But one day, her laughter would be silenced. Her father had somehow got it in his head that little Bo would be the heir to the power of Leviathan. Seeking to bring out the power he had believed to be in him, Hoa would force his powers to present themselves unfortunately this had been through an attack on Victoria. Seeing this as an opportunity  to prove her worth to the family, Hao forced his young son to attack his sister. But unfortunately the pressure and escalation had led to Vicky’s first display of her magic, resulting in her poisoning her father and brother, nearly killing the both of them as well as her mother. Soon enough she’d be removed from her fathers custody and taken to live with her more…stable relatives although contact with her father was maintained daily for the express purpose of him pushing her to fulfill a magical destiny of greatness and control. Yet from that moment on…she lost any real control of her life she had prior.

Backstory: 

Born to Crown princess Brigid-Tiana Drazuil of Aeuront and her consort Koa-ahi (Sereni) Drazuil,  Daesha is a twin, the youngest twin in fact, being born 4 minutes after to her brother, Ayden. Born in Halla Na Ríthe Móra (Aeuront Palace). 

As a baby, Daesha’s merfolk blood had affected her particularly more than it did Ayden causing her to be a bit more groggy compared to him. She would spend her 1st year of life being a calm and sleepy baby who spent her time near the sea, sleeping or when doing neither being in salt baths to help her stay hydrated. Her life truly begins on Earth, from her early school years she hadn’t been one for the rules, often giving snarky remarks to teachers she didn't like, or enabling her friends' not so good habit of graffitiing the girls' bathrooms or the school in general. Though she enjoyed a little rebellion from time to time she had been a good girl, for the most part. Keeping to herself most days and spending time alone, Daesha felt okay being by herself, it's honestly how she liked it. Not feeling the need to really open up with people, she was there to have fun and nothing more, why should others have to make things all mushy and emotional. I mean, that's how her friends felt, so shouldn't she feel the same?. The only person she had ever really been comfortable to be that way with was her dad, she’d never admit it but for all of her life he had been her best friend. And thus this was her life, until Erebus had opened up a part of her past she wasn't aware of. When Daesha enters the magic dimension she is taken aback by the fact her life had been uprooted and soon becomes apathetic to the dimension and to the Magic school she would begin to attend. She doesn't start opening up until she meets the only person she manages to connect with, truly connect, not just hang out when she’s bored but have a proper relationship with Victoria.

Backstory: 

Born to Orion Astrelle & Deseray Astrelle, Sarai is the first born and would be heir to Astrós and a total princess to her father and mother. From an early age Sarai was a cherished gem in the eyes of her parents, especially after being exiled to Earth, as during this time her parents had argued constantly so she would perform for them, often dancing or showing off her academic proficiency to distract them from their resentments towards each other. She was flawless, and for a little bit everything was perfect but when her little brother was born the cycle had continued once more. So, she would do all that she could to make her parents, her father in particular as happy as possible. From the age of 8 Sarai had been in many academic activities all to impress her parents, from volleyball to cheerleading to even debate but her true love had been dance…or….it was.  It had been her saving grace, her way to cope but when her father realized her talents he would watch on, encouraging her relentlessly and knowing what would happen if she stopped, knowing what would break out at home as her mother would try to defend her and inevitably destroy her family. And so…she would dance, dance for her mother's peace of mind, dance to maintain her father's joy and ultimately dance to maintain a family for herself and her brother.  But no matter how she tried she would grow resentful and bitter to something she once loved and it she would quit, using her other extracurriculars as an excuse and so she would bury herself into a world of pressure just so she could be a gem, a diamond…but diamonds are brittle.

Iitty bitty update, main cast aka "the arcanes" have their bios / analysis done of my drive, i just wanna make some cool name tag thingy's.

In terms of art i dont have much for them, i mean aside from concept for sarai's Core manifest and Energix (think mw and charmix)

But the each analysis and bio will be broken in up like this.

To keep things simple, my story, Tales of The Arcanes kinda is my take on a long running story like winx.

Season 1 - 3 acts as an introduction & ground work to the world and characters. With them being sent to the magic dimension / Aether in the first season, getting used to their new lives in season 2 and sorta getting their shit together in season 3.

Season 4-5 is more of them stepping into adulthood a bit more while tackling their feelings about their childhoods and their pasts on earth because yes most of the main cast was raised on earth (no they are not native to the planet tho lol)

6-10 is honestly in the works but i have ideas and concepts!

As for cast, i dub the main group as "The Arcanes" and in total they will consist of 8 (offical) members although some minor characters will be considered members.

Anyway ill get to cast in a bit, sometime later this week. Oh! But just for later, ine character is / was a insert. I no longer consider them that and tried to do my best to make them more of a character and not just me lol

My family is still staying in half of the church that wasn’t affected by the bombing because there is nowhere else to stay other than tents. They are limited to one small meal a day and one shower a week. They are sleeping on the floors, but no one can sleep since there is bombing everywhere around them. Even when there is no bombing, they can still hear the loud buzzing sound of the military planes above them, which would keep anyone who hears it awake. Along with everything, My grandma has diabetes and osteoporosis, so she can’t walk. Thinking about a proper way to introduce the story but im lowkey unsure.

Heyooooooo! Im chaotic, im working on a story of mine called "Tales of The Arcanes". Its heavily inspired by things like winx club, the owl house, ninjago and lego bionicals. Crazy mix, I know but im really excited to start sharing my ideas and designs and ramblings. Along with this i will also be reposting my friends works aswell as other creators and blogs.

Working on some In The Future Fusion fits for when the gorls are together/married

Nadia in one of her Official Queen and Wife of Daphne fits. She doesn’t have any royal sigils or anything since she’s a regular girliepop from Earth, so hers is just integrating some traditional styling from her cultural background

Next up: Bloom on Solaria

Her gems and symbols are still present, fit is just tailored to Solarian dress customs for integration, which is extra nice for Bloom because it’s fucking Hot there

She thankfully doesn’t really burn on Solaria

I am projecting my Pale but Tans Well onto her, especially with her mom’s skin tone present in her genes working as more of an undertone, so that’s what the darker skin tone one is

Also what I’m currently thinking the shade of Stella after a summer on Solaria be upon you

For Stella’s Dominion fit, she is never one to say no to fine materials from other planets

She has her sigils of Solaria on these and most of her own gems

The crown though is Dominion and has had its jewels replaced with all cyan for her since she's considered a member of the royal family

Bloom's own outfits are significantly less dramatic than this also Stella is just 100% that bitch to choose a big train and extra poofy sleeves and shit Marion loves playing dress up with Stella also

They're in a room with a billion magazines and pictures and projections of items and clothes scattered across the floor and Stella has her vision boards for different outfits she wants to design and designers she loves and Bloom has been sent to fetch them a charcuterie board and some drinks so they can keep talking

(Mainly because Bloom still feels weird about having servants to order around so she's like oh I'll do it)
