My husband, Roy, carved this wooden dowel using a walnut branch that had fallen in our back yard. The wall hanging was hand-sewn by me using appliqué, sashiko and jogakbo stitching. I made this tooth fairy pillow for Oliver, who lost his first tooth while eating lunch at school yesterday! All his teachers said he was “cool as a cucumber” about it. It fell out of his mouth on to the lunch table. He picked it up and calmly put it in his lunch box for safe keeping.
