decided to have a go at redesigning Quiet. Y'know, the "I'll suffocate if you put clothes on me so I'm dressed like this by choice" lady from MGSV.

I understand that people need to make money out of their art but there are people who just do it because it's fun.
Art isn't a life or death situation where you should only learn the correct things. Learning is part of the process, even if it's learning the wrong things. What's important is that you're making something and loving the process.
There may be more at stake when your livelihood depends on it-- so you need to learn the right things. But this isn't the case with everybody. Art will always be a process of creating. Even if you take away learning from it, it will still be art.
There are so many ways that people use art-- like a means to make a living, or a way to connect with people, or as a creative outlet, or a means to protest. The list can go on and on. But my point is-- there is no one way to do it, there is no one way to learn. We should be more empathetic to each other and understand that what drives us is not the same for everyone else.
