Lucky whale watching at sunset in Kaikoura, NZ 🐳 . I ended up staying almost a week in Kaikoura, patiently waiting for the storm to pass over the mountains and leave the ocean at peace. And that day was a lucky one with 4 whales sighting, 2 beautiful humpback and 2 giant sperm whales and playful schools of dolphins all around! . Kaikoura is a small fisherman town north of Christchurch, which was hit by a strong earthquake in 2016 and left the town almost completely isolated until 2 months ago. .
