Just caught me off guard.” Johnny's phrasing made him mildly concerned, considering his job at the moment,”Wasn't expecting anyone around here” The Mandrill smirked, clutching large textbooks that were in her hand closer to her. She leaned in, motioning Johnny closer. “Is this your secret singing spot?” Johnny barked out a laugh, a little relieved. Then thinking how silly it was to even think she knew anything. She was a civilian. “Ahh, you found it out” he replayed in a faux concerned tone. “Don't worry, your secret's safe with me” She chuckled. “I'm Johnny,”He put out his hand,”I haven't seen you before” She shook it “Daisy, it's a big city.” Another smirk threatened to show on her face “But I am new. I'm going to the local community college. What do you do?” Johnny hesitated, not about to say he was the son of a mob boss. “I work with my dad” not a lie “He runs a mechanic shop on 7th” still not technically a lie. That was the cover. “Cool, working ape. I'm still trying to figure out a way around this place. If I get myself a car I might stop by to ask you to check it out.” “I'd like that”Johnny said before realizing he said it “I-I mean I can do this. For sure.” Daisy giggled before looking around, a look of consern crossed her face.“You wouldn't happen to know how to get to the subway from here, would you? I may or may not be lost.” Johnny shook his head.”Sorry” A static noise from his pocket took his attention fully. Daisy didn't seem to notice, still looking around, “Oh there's cops heading this way, I'll ask them.” Johnny rushed out of sight when she turn to walk to them. “Excuse me,” she waved them down, “I seem to have lose my way, would either of you know where the subway is? I need to get to uptown.” The cops were distracted by her Johnny was running down the alley. Whisper yelling into his walkie-talkie. “They know the-” Daisy turned around only to see she was talking to no one “Johnny?” Before anyone on the other end of the line heard Johnny's warning an alarm sounded, and Johnny's dad and the rest of his crew jumped out of the window. “Freeze” the cops yelled going after them. Daisy calmly walked away, down the street, around the corner and away of the chaos. Once she was a few blocks away she got out her cell phone and made a call. Two minutes later a nice car pulled up next to her. She got in. Another, older Mandrill sat across from her. After a few moments of pregnant silence, the older one spoke “So?” “I made first contact with the youngest.”Daisy answered “I know where their hideout is. He wants to see me again...he has a nice singing voice” She said the last part in a smaller voice. Mostly to herself. The older one smiled a wide smile, it looks unnatural on her face “You did very well, my child” completely ignoring the last part. Daisy smiled back, through it seemed forced. “Thank you, Mother. I won't let you down.”
