made these black dragon inspired eva foam and faux leather pauldrons and gorget in just a two day mini project. clearly just avoiding working on my revan cosplay because it frustrates me.

finished padme blaster. i decided not to make the handle look wooden or brown since the original prop is fully silver/chrome and only later iterations are the ones with the brown handle.

size adjusted and mechanic for blaster barrel have been completed on the second prototype for padme's blaster

still deciding how to paint and assemble because more recent versions of her blaster has a wood/brown handle while the original gun was completely chrome...

woops too big on the prototype... lol an extra large elg-3a blaster? elg-3a-xl? i'll be making another one to finish this time to better scale.

this is going to be padme amidala's blaster pistol from the phantom menace.

anyway here is a half face bunny mask with a clip on tail i made for an oc of mine!

got distracted from my cosplay projects and started making an aerith cosplay... oops.

anyway i used an online thrift to get a red leather jacket cannot wait to cut it up! gonna dye a white dress pink and add a bunch of ribbon and lace. cannot wait to do a simple project.

this is a reminder that you don't have to 100% make every single piece and cosplay you own. you can thrift or use clothes from you closet or things you edit to make a cosplay!

as promised i made star wars rebels accurate westar-35 dual blasters for bo-katan kryze!

art is suffering but my only suffering is my unsteady hands trying to paint these things... and here is the original design drafting sketch as well.

made ONE westar-35 bo-kayan blaster based on a 3d model from star wars twc westar-35... it's ugly and i have already decided i hate it! why did this failure take so long...

anyway i'm going to build bo-katan's duel blaster westar-35 all over again but this time using screen caps from later seasons of star wars rebels! hopefully this will be both easier and quicker.

note to anyone who build her blasters: they have 100 different designs and no consistency ever at all!

i am not even half done with my bo-katan kryze cosplay but i've already spent more than $100 dollars in supplies... ugh it will be worth it i keep telling myself. i hate when i work super hard and invest in a cosplay but it isn't jingling the same bells in my head anymore.

anyway i have sketched out the armor pattern, found weapon schematics, styled her wig, made her head band thing, have the kute/bodysuit made, and have ordered the eva foam to make the armor pieces.

things i need to do still include... well most things...

i need to actually make her custom wester-35, build all of her armor pieces and their kute/bodysuit attachments, find a large amount of velcro, purchase visor material, build her helmet, purchase leather belt material and make belts and pouches.

(eventually: find fabric for, pattern, and make her poncho from TCW.)

working on a project for months and it still not even being close to finished while also fighting the urge to start another project you now find more interesting...

the constant desire to do complex and time consuming cosplay projects that you know you will have no place to store and no energy to actually get done in a manageable time period...
