I have a confession and also a question...

The man I refer to as my husband is not technically my husband. I am pagan and he is agnostic, and neither of us is really comfortable with the idea of our government being involved in our relationship, so we have agreed on a marriage based on traditional pagan views and common law.

That being said, we will still have a ceremony and a reception, but there will be no certificate legally binding us.

I bring it up because I just finished designing our wedding invitations, and I wanted to know if people were interested in seeing it because I'm stupid proud of how it turned out.

Is it just me?

I want to be and do so many things, but I do not want to get the education for it or deal with all the people.

I think that I would make an exceptional therapist based on the fact that very little bothers me, I am a great listener, and I am told that I give phenomenal advice.

Or anything to do with psychology. The human mind fascinates me, and I find great pleasure and entertainment in analyzing behaviors and connecting them to events in a person's past as an explication for said behavior.

I want to be some form of fashion designer. I love putting together outfits from my own and other people's closets that are both comfortable and stylish and that are fitting to the person they are being put together for.

I also want to do interior design. I love design in general, honestly. I love going off of a theme or color scheme and creating something deeply personal either for myself or someone else. I actually spent hours with my mom making up plans for decorating and repainting the house her and my dad just bought together.

I would enjoy being an illustrator. I have been drawing since I was 12 and recently got into digital art, which I am enjoying just as much as I did when I was using only pencil and paper.

Or an author. I have been writing for just as long, and although I only recently started sharing my writing, the positive response I've receivedthis far has given me enough of a confidence boost to consider actually writing a book.

Graphic design sounds like fun. I can't entirely explain this one, at least not well, but I know that I would love designing covers, logos, and the works if given enough creative freedom.

I want to be and do so these things, but I do not want, or believe that I have the self-discipline to, go through the amount of schooling and education that it would take to be certified for these fields. Not to mention the networking and handling people outside of clientele.

A good friend of mine passed away a few days ago in a car accident. I have spent the better part of the last few nights making this in her honor.

This is the hardest I have ever worked on a piece, but the time and effort I spent on this was well worth it for my friend.

May she rest in peace.

For privacy reasons, I have left her name out of the middle where it will be when I send this to her family.
