Yeah, that doesn’t work here! ‘Tis a lil’ spicy (but what else should we expect from the mutual crush side of the love square?) and wholesome at the same time. I feel like we should get more from Adrien��s POV and that’s exactly what this story does.

It’s so beautiful and sad the way that Gabriel’s parenting hurts Adrien, and his feelings are explored so well, and the hurt/comfort is just so good

“I’ll make do with it,” she muttered beneath her breath, before beginning to flicker her gaze about her surroundings. “You two distract him - I’ll find a way to use this.”

Arctic Fox and Chat Noir nodded in unison. They tilted their heads up to where Protector was perched on a beam above, and leaped up like acrobats onto the same level.

Whilst the three males exchanged heated kicks and blows, below, Marinette felt her features twist into a grimace as she furrowed her brow. The search of any ideas ended up fruitless, and so she finally decided to tear off the material that hid the cuboid-shaped item beneath it.

Luka sat in his silent living room and tried to meditate. Here it was, Marinette’s big night, and Luka was nervous as hell. He cleared his mind and tried to convince his body that he was not the one going up on stage and so there was no need to get psyched up for it, but his body didn’t feel like listening. Luka had total faith in Marinette, but somehow he couldn’t quite seem to get rid of the feeling sparking under his skin. It was a relief when his personal stylist knocked on the door.

“Practically all my life,” he told her as he zipped up the case. “Learned from my mom, she was a rock guitarist back in the day. I was just messing around, though. If I really wanted to practice I’d go down on the stage and hook up the big amp.”

Marinette’s eyebrows raised. “You have an entire stage whenever you just feel like practicing?”

Luka shrugged and gave her a roguish grin and a wink that made her knees weak. “Welcome to the Liberty. Everything we do here is dramatic and over the top.”
