Absolution | Chapter 1/3

Summary:

Post-release, with no home to return to, Wriothesley established an off-grid cabin in the middle of nowhere to make his living. Years of solitude and wood splitting pass, without fanfare, until a hunting accident brings a strange man, Neuvillette, into Wriothesley's life.

Much like Wriothesley, Neuvillette is running from something. Perhaps there's healing to be done as they learn to share space with one another.

All it takes is one gunshot to disturb the peace they've so carefully constructed.
