Hey I really like your mouse world drawing!

I am curious if you OC, Marielle is native american? i ask this because as stated she is a peromyscus/deer mouse which are native to eastern north america.

I love this interpretation of her, it's definitely crossed my mind! (with the one caveat that she'd probably have more in affinity with Diné or Puebloan cultures since she's actually in the Southwest)

I think the critter peoples probably are influenced by several cultures they're in close contact with, but I'm hesitant to make any 1:1 comparisons without putting in a more thought/research first
