i love it when characters are codependent. i love it when losing someone feels like losing a limb. i love it when two people "complete" each other so wholly and terribly that one can barely function without the other. i love it when the fear of losing the only person who understands them is so all-consuming they'll destroy anything to stay together, including themselves.

i can’t remember if he blushed the same in the anime but also here:

here’s some other manga blushes, kid eren in particular was super blushy!

it happened whenever he was embarrassed / humiliated or even super (happily) passionate. but when he’s older, he gets really apathetic, basically less pride to feel embarrassed / humiliated. so the blush trigger is…emotional intimacy (weirdly not in the near kiss scene) or when he’s sloshed out of his mind lmfao.

thinking about the Armin blushing post I recently made (+Mikasa) - Eren only blushes three times in the series, right? 1) When he first wraps his scarf around Mikasa, 2) When he tells his friends he cares for them, and 3) When he's drunk. Am I missing any?

kinda love how Armin and Mikasa are so blushy...and then there's Eren. he's just not a blushy guy

It strikes me as significant that when Akutagawa was talking about striking down the plane, he specified that it would be their victory - he's using a plural pronoun 僕等 right there, in a separate speech bubble for emphasis.

He definitely thinks of himself and Atsushi as one unit, inseparable. And it's only emphasized by how he sprung to action at Atsushi merely mentioning what needs to be done.

duke DEFINITELY suspects / knows about lenore’s feelings for annabel

he’s a clever man and the clues are very much in his face, even without the letter detailing their secret cooperation, i think he knows a fair bit already. i don’t think he’s the vengeful type (he was basically begging for a “reason” to not kill montressor despite it all, and he didn’t even kill him), and he was willing to accept lenore asking for a truce with annabel, he only pushed annabel off the balcony when she “proved” herself a threat by refusing. so it will be mostly the betrayal of lenore lying that will upset him moreso than her conspiring with the enemy.

(and obviously he’s soft on lenore so he’ll forgive her hopefully???)
