Interesting reason to draw monsters that I hadn't drawn seriously before (I know that the point of this meme is a little different but i wanted to try something unusual). The variety of designs for different characters that reflect their personality is one of the things I like about this franchise.

Ryan’s first encounter with my Monsters Inc / Finding Nemo AU - Beast Bruce🦈

Barry Humphries brought so much to the table with this loveable shark, and when I created my AU of Monster Bruce, I wanted to bring him to life. ✨

There are some tweaks I would change but overall, push backs in between, & a month’s work combined into this project, I’m pleased to see how it turned out! 💙🖊️

Johnny and Brock met at a compliance, since they’re both in the same ditch with a human under their supervision.

but the trouble is now on Johnny’s shoulders, despite his very heavy reluctance, it’s either babysitting, or his reputation tarnished. Considering Brock’s schedule would be nearly impossible to keep little Ryan safe!

Claire’s first or then ‘real’ move she made on Johnny. Since they got married and had two kids in MaW2, Claire may have thought he had the more down to earth and professional singularity.💞

I personally believe that Claire and Brock’s chemistry was better, but Johnny’s charm might have been working behind the scenes, while Claire with Brock, wanted to keep fraternising and sport seperate.

It’s not as common for the male crocodilians to carry and care for their young as much as the mother’s, but as a single Dad. Pete’s filling in both while testing out the science of it with Ryan ! 💙🐊

Repaint of Johnny’s formal portrait ✍️ - for context:

Commissioned in the Worthington family home, of which the contract was sealed after Johnny took over the family business, following Jack’s passing, symbolising the passing of the torch.

Also, I grew to not like some aspects of the older painting I did last year.

‘He’s the visitor’ - Ryan courage’s up. As much as Ryan loves to spend time with Johnny in his family home, where many Worthington’s have walked these halls, one of them had a left a trace.

Johnny might brush off Ryan’s childish dilemma’s, given their past since MU, but despite being a sceptic, Johnny would be, he indulges with Ryan.🫂

‘Fang’ Worthington’s hauntings stretch more than just a sense of dread from the cold draft, or his shadow in the corner of one’s peripheral vision.

Ryan’s underestimation of some monsters and the spirit world, came at the price of Jack’s bias. Like his son, he’d do anything to keep his legacy alive, especially beyond the grave. 🪦💀

‘Fang’ Worthington’s role in my fanfic/AU is still a little vague, but given his passing is canon, maybe around the time of MI/MaW timeline.

His spirit is well aware of Johnny’s actions, but more so shifting to Ryan. A human, who’d controversially grown a bond with his son Johnny, and monsters in general, would prompt Jack to turn in his grave. 💢🪦

Blunt as Johnny is, he never backs down from delivering the truth, but Ryan’s need for his comfort this time wasn’t like the time at MU, it was more than just a little darkness troubling the boy.

The heed of another presense between them both, something else but Jack’s frozen, cold stare looking down on his son and this.. Human. 👿

Just another case of brotherly love 🫂💜 It begs the question of how Ryan would get out of this one. Johnny wouldn’t use literal force by hand, but that’s not to say from his throat & Jaw!
