"we can't keep doing this, draco."
with delicate fingers, he continued to unbuckle the pants of the man standing above him. "and why is that?"
"what if your parents-"
"fuck my parents," draco interrupted. "right now, i'm busy trying to fuck you."

narcissa malfoy
the name narcissa comes from the flower narcissus. narcissa malfoy is blonde, which is a mix between white and yellow, like the narcissus flower. what does the flower represent? purity (pureblood) falithfulness (was solely faithful to her family) and respect (she commands respect from everyone, like the pureblood she is).
THIS WOMAN IS THE EMBODIMENT OF HER NAMESAKE

i will leave you notes
word count: 233 inspired by "je te laisserai de mots"
harry wiped his tears as he picked up a small paper crane. it had flown in and landed softly at his feet, surprising him. he was alone in the room of requirement, having told no one of his whereabouts so he could release all his frustrations and regrets in private, but someone obviously knew he was here.
carefully, he unfolded it. neat, beautiful handwriting covered the page entirely, and before he could go back to worrying about who knew where he was, he began to read it.
I will leave you notes under your door, hidden in your textbooks, on your seat just before class, in your favorite places to escape So if you feel like you're alone find me whenever you want, hug me whenever you want, trust me whenever you want
D.M.
harry stood up and left the room of requirement, nearly tripping over a blond that had been leaning against the door. he didn't give him a chance to say anything before dragging him back into the hidden room, slamming his back against the wall.
"was this you?" harry asked, waving the paper around.
"do you know anyone else with those initials?"
"did you mean it?"
draco's eyes never left harry's as he brushed away a stray tear from the brunette's face with his thumb. "i did."
and harry potter, golden boy, the boy who lived, the perfect wizard, broke.

draco slammed his book shut. the continuous giggling from across the slytherin common room had gotten on the last of his nerves, and he stalked over to blaise and pansy, towering over them. "please do tell me what you two find so funny so i can destroy it."
pansy looked up, a sly grin on her face. "we nabbed potter's diary. this page is rather interesting. would you like to read it?"
he plucked the leather bound book from her grasp, rather forcefully. he walked a little ways off towards the fireplace for its light, though the lighting was perfectly fine by his friends. "what could possibly be amusing about his life?"
the brunette followed him, on her toes to read over his shoulder. "he likes guys, that's what! imagine that, being gay! and there's one in particular he is fond of." she lowered her voice to an amused whisper. "it's you he fancies, draco. isn't that revolting?"
blond hair brushing her away, draco glared over his shoulder. "pansy, do me a favor. sod off."
she frowned but complied with his request. blaise welcomed her back to her place beside him, and they watched draco.
his interest, however, was not in the words on the page. rather, it was the page itself that caught his attention. the small stars and hearts drawn in the corners made him smile involuntarily, though he hid it well with a smirk. who knew potter could do something so cute? his finger ran over the grooves of the terrible handwriting of the great harry potter. somehow, he found it comforting, knowing that even the chosen one couldn't be entirely perfect. even as he read the writing, he hardly registered the words other than his own name.
blaise and pansy took his interest in the wrong way. they thought him to be gathering information to be used against potter, that he was absolutely disgusted at the thought of a guy liking him. in reality, he was only happily studying the chosen one's handwriting. he'd never told anyone, but he greatly enjoyed linguistics and forensic graphology. being able to study the writing of the famous harry potter was an opportunity not many would get.
an insistent knocking was heard, coming from the entrance to the common room. draco was broken out of his trance, going to see who it was, diary still in hand. it had to have been someone from another house looking for one of the slytherins. pansy and blaise stood behind him as he opened the door.
none other than harry potter himself stood on the other side, a worried look on his face. "i'm sorry to bother, but it seems i've misplaced-"
he caught sight of the book in draco's hand and stopped. he looked up at the blond, and an emotion somewhere between fear and anger clouded his eyes.
draco cleared his throat. he extended the diary to potter but dared not look him in the eye. he knew what the situation looked like. "would this, perhaps, be what you're looking for?"
potter didn't say a word. he ripped the book from his hands and walked hurriedly away. behind draco, pansy and blaise were snickering.
"secret's out, potter," they laughed.
"don't you have anything better to do? dinner is being served soon. go get ready." draco shoved his way back into the common room and shut himself into his room.
he needed time to think. allegedly, potter fancied him. allegedly because draco himself had not read the declaration of love written in the diary, as he had been much more interested in the shapes the ink formed more than the words. he'd only heard it from pansy, and he knew better than to trust her.
potter liking him wasn't a problem. who was draco to decide who potter could and couldn't love? the bloke could be in love with bloody professor mcgonagall for all he cared. except that that implied draco didn't care, and that wasn't exactly true.
the issue was what potter had seen. draco wasn't stupid, he knew he could treat the boy better than he did. but as much as he didn't like it, being a bully suit him well, and it was harder to fight against something you were born to do than to just go with it. potter catching him with the stolen diary would only worsen their relationship, not that they had much of one to begin with.
he didn't dislike potter. in fact, he felt the opposite way. since their first year at hogwarts, he'd wanted to befriend him. but draco was tired. he was tired of pretending to loathe him. tired of making the chosen one feel bad, hurt, ridiculed.
he would apologize. yes, the great draco malfoy would apologize to harry potter and make things right. he only had to find him.
the dorms and common room were empty by the time the blond left the slytherin dungeons. everyone had gone to dinner, no doubt. that's where he'd expected to find potter, but as draco's eyes scoured the gryffindor table, the familiar round glasses and messy brown hair were nowhere to be seen.
he could hear, however, whispers from each table. passing briefly by hufflepuff, he could hear mentions of the boy who lived's name and his own. by the ravenclaw table, whispered "he's gay" and "i can't believe he likes boys!" reached his ears.
finally reaching the slytherin table, draco pulled blaise and pansy to their feet by the collars of their shirts. "what did you do?"
"exposed potter, of course! we figured since you already knew his secret, he wouldn't mind all of hogwarts finding out." pulling herself away, pansy added, "blimey, draco, why do you look so upset?! it's just a bit of fun!"
he didn't answer her. finding granger and weasley, he walked over to talk to them instead. "where's potter?"
"do you think we'd tell you? not bloody likely, malfoy," weasley snarled.
granger didn't even look at draco. he huffed in frustration and turned to leave the great hall, but his arm was caught in someone's hold. luna lovegood was looking up at him from where she sat at the gryffindor table, visiting her friends. "i think you'll find that something is waiting for you on the astronomy tower."
draco released a breath he hadn't known he was holding. "thank you, lovegood."
he wasted no time in climbing the tower. when he reached the top, the silhouette of a certain boy sat on the window, his legs over the edge. next to him was the diary.
"if you're here to make fun of me, tell me what an abomination i am, i already know, malfoy. you don't need to remind me."
"what are you talking about?" after a pause, draco added, "i didn't read it, you know. and i didn't tell blaise or pansy to take it."
potter looked at him. "but you know, don't you? they told you."
draco shook his head. "i know better than to trust what pansy says. all she cares about is gossip."
"well, it's true. i do like you."
the blond had no response, so instead he asked, "can i sit with you?"
potter nodded, and he swung his legs over the edge as well.
"how could you like me after all i've done to you? i've been a monster, harry."
the boy shrugged, not even realizing the use of his first name. "i've been treated worse. and besides, i don't think you wanted to be bad. i don't think you want to be bad now. it's my fault, anyway. you wanted to be friends with me our first year, and i turned you down."
"that doesn't justify my behavior, or explain why you like me."
at this, potter blushed. "well, you're really pretty."
draco's eyes widened, and a sort of gasp left his mouth. "you think i'm pretty?"
"yes, of course! have you not seen yourself, draco? and did you really not read any of the diary? it's in there." potter picked it up, flipping through the pages, his eyes bright. "see? right there. and the page after, and the one after that."
as draco read, he actually paid attention to the words. time after time, he read potter describing his eyes, or his hands, or his hair, or how smooth his skin was. he felt his cheeks warm. "no one's ever told me they thought i was pretty."
"i would tell you every day." suddenly, potter's eyes dulled, and he drew back. "but that's not right, is it? two boys loving each other. you don't even like boys."
"i wouldn't pay you as much mind for as long as i have if i didn't, harry. if i didn't like you. and who's to say two boys can't love each other?"
"you like me?"
"merlin's beard, harry!" draco exclaimed. "do you see nothing, even with those glasses? i've only been doting after you for the past six years!"
the brunette snorted. "well, how was i to know? you've said yourself how mean you've been to me!"
draco laughed. "yes, i've never been good at expressing myself. i suppose being a malfoy has done that to me. but i've sent you chocolates and flowers every year for valentine's day!"
"what? i've never received anything, only from ginny, the poor girl! and they were expensive gifts, too. i wonder how she came to get them."
"that slimy git! she's been crediting herself for those gifts! those were all mine to you!" draco shook his head. "nevermind. i'll deliver them myself this year."
a silence settled between the two. they watched the stars in the nightsky, the trees swaying in the forest below. it was peaceful on the astronomy tower, and neither boy had a mind to leave anytime soon.
but silence could not exist forever. a distant roll of thunder had the boys withdrawing from the window, settling against the railing of the stairs together instead. from there, they could still see the stars and be protected from the oncoming rain at the same time, should they stay long enough for it to arrive.
"draco?"
"yes, harry?"
"if... if we both like each other, could we date?"
"i don't think so." quickly, he added, "i'm not rejecting you, harry, but i don't deserve a happy ending. i have to make things better first."
harry held draco's hand gingerly. "i understand. but i would really like to be with you, so if it's only me you need to make things right with, hurry up and apologize, would you? i think a kiss would do nicely."
"you're getting bold, potter," draco laughed. "come on. dinner's almost over, and you should eat."
"harry."
"what?"
"i want you to call me harry. and let me hold your hand. that's all i want until you believe you've redeemed yourself."
draco smiled. "alright, then. let's go down now, shall we?"

little birdie
word count: 792
"we've got to stop meeting like this, little birdie."
hawks didn't look over his shoulder to see who it was. only one person called him by that name.
"meeting like what? me doing my nightly patrols and you stalking me?" he replied smoothly. a strong gust of wind blew, and he extended a large, crimson wing to shield himself from it.
"maybe i just enjoy your company. have you ever thought of that?"
as the man came to sit next to him on the ledge of the building, hawks changed his position from a crouch to sitting, allowing his wings to rest from keeping him balanced. the glowing city lights of fukuoka were spread out beneath him as far as he could see, and if he used his imagination, he could pretend he was above the stars.
"you shouldn't, dabi," he responded after a silence had stretched between them. " we can't keep doing this. i'm a hero, and you're a villain."
dabi turned his gaze from the lights to hawks, compelling him to do the same. "yet, you don't change your patrol routes, and you sit on this rooftop until i show up."
hawks drew in a shuddering breath and folded his wings in closer to himself. he couldn't bring himself to look away from dabi's teal eyes.
he knew he shouldn't, couldn't, be meeting him on the rooftops of his city every night. they were on opposite sides of the same war. their colleagues hated each other, and they hated each other's colleagues. they were supposed to hate each other too.
there was every possibility hawks would lose the respect, the job, the friends he'd worked and trained for years to gain if he was seen with dabi. and he knew that for dabi, the scarred, pierced man would have to face the wrath of the most powerful villains in japan. nothing good would come out the two being together.
nothing except...
"do you trust me?" hawks asked. from the other's rapid blinking, he could tell the question had been unexpected.
dabi let out a heavy exhale and stood up. “do i trust a predatory hero whose only business he should have with me is to either put me behind bars or kill me?”
hawks felt his heart begin to sink and stood up as well. as he opened his mouth to speak, dabi gave him a smile.
and stepped off the edge of the building.
“no!”
hawks thrust a hand out, trying to catch hold of even a piece of dabi’s clothing. the man kept falling.
spurring his wings into action, hawks dove off the building. he did everything he knew to do to make himself fall faster. he tried to keep his mind off of how rapidly they were nearing the sidewalks of fukuoka and instead focused on reaching dabi.
his hand still outstretched, hawks managed to grab hold of his arm. he used everything in him to pull dabi closer, closer, closer until he was tucked safely into him. his large powerful wings beat, fighting to slow their descent. he struggled to carry himself and dabi, but he wouldn’t let his wings stop until they had reached a solid structure.
hawks flew and flew, away from the city. their fall had almost brought them close to the point where even those without enhanced sight would recognize the hero and villain. he didn’t want to risk the chance that someone had.
finally, hawks spotted a field of grass. he allowed himself to get nearer to the ground, and when he was a safe distance from it, dropped dabi. he stayed in the air even after hearing the other man’s pained groan, contemplating on just leaving him there. but he knew he didn’t have the heart to.
“ow,” dabi fussed.
hawks scoffed before using a wing to smack dabi. “why would you do that?! you could’ve been hurt! what if i didn’t reach you in time?!”
“i was giving you your answer,” dabi pouted. “i was showing you that i trust you.”
dabi sidled up to hawks, wrapping his arms around him while being careful of his wings. he waited until hawks eventually relaxed into him and brought his own mouth near his ear, even though he knew hawks would have no problem hearing dabi whisper from 10 feet away with his enhanced hearing.
“i’m sorry. can you forgive me?”
a silence grew between them. hawks knew what he was doing. he knew, yet he was still falling. for the trick, for dabi? from the shiver that had run down his spine when dabi had spoken, he knew the answer.
“don’t ever do that again. i mean it,” hawks finally huffed.
grinning, dabi answered, “as you wish, little birdie.”

glimpses of the future (part 2)
word count: 927 a series of connected kuroken omegaverse oneshots
"tetsurou, they're coming!"
"i can't find my keys!"
"hurry!"
"who's coming, momma?"
kenma looked down at the kid sitting in his lap playing a child's video game. "aki, do you remember you once met a really energetic man with orange hair when you were very little, and i told you that was your uncle shoyo?"
the kid nodded.
"well, he and his husband tobio are coming to see mizuki for the first time. your father's going to the train station to get them."
akira looked up at kenma, eyes wide. "i don't have to talk to him, do i? he's too loud."
kenma didn't mind in the slightest that his son didn't want to have a conversation with his friend. he knew how overwhelming shoyo could be the first several meetings. "it would be nice if you at least greeted him, then you can let your brother do the talking. do you think you can do that for me?"
akira nodded slowly. "i think i can do that."
kenma caressed his hair and kissed his head. "thanks, honey."
the child perked up. "can i see her? mizuki?"
"as long as you don't wake her."
"don't worry, i won't!"
taking his son's hand, kenma got up and went to his room, where he'd made a nest for his daughter. they walked over and akira stood on the tips of his toes. when he couldn't see over the edge of the bed, he looked at kenma, silently asking to be picked up.
"be careful," kenma whispered. he helped akira onto the bed and smiled as he hugged his sister gently. the boy's face lit up when mizuki shifted closer to him in her sleep.
kenma watched for a few moments before leaving the room. he went to find his other son and make sure his husband had already left to pick up his friend. upon finding tadashi coloring in his room, kenma laid on the floor next to him, deciding not to fuss about having to step over scattered half-eaten crayons.
***
the blonde turned his gaming chair towards the door as it opened. "what's up?"
tadashi poked his head through the doorway. "i'm dragging akira to a party, and mizuki's asking me to drop her off at a friend's sleepover."
"tell mizuki not to eat too many cookies, and i better not get a call from the school tomorrow saying either one of you is hungover, go it?" kenma responded.
"okay. love you, bye!"
"yeah, yeah, love you, too, kid." kenma turned back around to find his stream's chat blowing up. many of the comments were asking to see tadashi or wondering how he was.
"uh, tadashi's doing good, and so are akira and mizuki." he paused to read more. "yes, tetsurou is also doing well. i'd ask him to come in, but he's not home yet."
something told kenma his viewers were no longer interested in watching him play video games, so he closed the game he was playing and left his viewers looking at the aesthetic skyline photo he had as his computer's wallpaper.
"how old are my kids? the twins turned 17 4 months ago, and mizuki turned 12 a month before that.
"someone asked what i do for their birthdays. whatever they'd like, really. all 3 of them are responsible enough to go hang out with their friends by themselves; they don't need their mom throwing a birthday party with cake and games. i don't even get them presents. they can get whatever they want, as long as they're deserving, of course, any time of year."
kenma scrolled through more comments. "'are you sure you're not spoiling them?' so what if i am? they're good kids. there's rarely a reason for me to say no, and if i do, they don't complain.
"'how are you such a good parent? your kids adore you.' yeah, see the crazy thing is, when you actually trust and listen to your kids, they'll do the same thing back. who would've thought? it's almost like that's how the world works.
"'what was it like having kids so young?'" kenma paused. he'd been 17, the twins' age, when he'd given birth to them. now he was 34, world-famous, and with his own company. "i wouldn't say it was extremely difficult, but it was easy, either. tetsurou... he was in college, and i--"
he stopped. he didn't feel comfortable sharing his family's hardships with the world. "anyway, we got through it, and we're all very happy."
he subtly moved his mouse so that the cursor on screen hovered over the "end livestream" button, unbeknownst to his viewers.
"'kodzuken, are you home alone?' uh, that's a very creepy question. i'll have you know that i have security details all over the building, so good luck getting in.
"'kenma, marry me!'" he lifted the back of his left hand to the camera. "no, thanks. i'm good."
kenma pretended to be worried about the time. "oh, guys, i have cats to feed. tetsurou, will be home soon, anyway, so i have to go make some dinner. bye everyone.:
quick, before anyone had time to react, kenma ended the stream and sighed. he loved his fans, but they could become overwhelming once they set their mind on interrogating.
looking at the time, again, and considering how long it took for his husband to get home, kenma decided to order delivery instead of cooking. it would take an absurd amount of time to feed only 2 people.
while dinner arrived, he really did have cats to feed.

glimpses of the future (part 1)
word count: 899 a series of connected kuroken omegaverse one-shots
"how's my beautiful future husband faring?"
smiling tiredly up at the man who walked into the apartment, kenma rubbed his stomach gently. "he was woken up from his nap from your son."
"tadashi, you mom needs his rest, okay?" he stooped to peck kenma's forehead and walked into a room. "let me get changed, and i'll get started on dinner."
"oh, i can do that, tetsurou," kenma called after him. "you took a long workday; you must be tired."
a response came a few moments later once kuroo reemerged from the room, a t-shirt and sweatpants on instead of a suit. "nonsense. you can't be moving around too much when you're pregnant, especially when carrying twins. besides, i like doing things for you."
kenma sighed from his place on the couch. "i'm not as fragile as you think i am. i never have been."
"or maybe that's what you think because i never let you get hurt," kuroo reasoned. he had his usual cocky grin on his face, the one that kenma loved and hated all at once.
"sure, babe. okay."
the pregnant man wasn't all that bothered. ever since they'd started dating in high school, kuroo never allowed kenma to do household chores when they were together, which was always. now that they were in an apartment together less than a year later, they were no different. besides, kenma loved kuroo's cooking.
once kuroo left the meat to simmer, he turned to face kenma, who had moved to sit on a barstool at the kitchen island. they looked at each other fondly before the taller man spoke. "you know, this apartment might not be big enough to have little ones running around."
"this is literally a half step down from a penthouse, tetsurou. i think we'll be fine. besides, i think you mean little one. akira's calmer than you when you're sleeping. tadashi's going to be the one coloring the walls. he takes after you, after all."
"i love these two so much, though. i might want more." kuroo winked before flipping the meat, smiling when he saw the crunchy but juicy top.
kenma, however, scowled. "look, if you want more kids, you'll have to knock up someone else for them. after these two, i'm done."
"but, babe--" kuroo started.
"nope. i'm carrying these two, and that's it. do you know how much pain my back is in? and i still have to actually give birth to them!"
kuroo circled the kitchen counter and hugged his boyfriend from behind. he leaned down to whisper in his ear, "but don't you love the idea of me filling you up with my kids? doesn't the idea of me leaving you full to the brim please you?"
a shiver went up kenma's spine. kuroo know what effects his voice had on him. "don't start."
butterfly kisses were trailed from kenma's neck to his ear before kuroo shifted the barstool to place a kiss on his forehead. "you know you love it."
"i also know you're burning the food."
***
"how do you feel, babe? only a few weeks left."
"i'm ready for them to come out. look at me!" kenma put his phone on the bed to pat his stomach. "i'm fat! and tadashi isn't making this any easier!"
a laugh bubbled from kuroo. "you're not fat, you're pregnant."
kenma accommodated himself so that his back was flat against the bed and stuffed a pillow under his head to keep it supported. he grabbed kuroo's hand and placed it on the round of his belly.
"help me find them."
"it's 6 am. i don't think they're awake." despite his words, kuroo dutifully ran his hand over his boyfriend's stomach. he smiled, knowing his children were in there.
"trust me, tadashi's awake. akira is, too, but he's playing video games instead of running miles."
"just like when we were kids." kuroo's grin grew bigger, and he shuffled himself closer to kenma so he could spoon him. "god, i love you so much."
a deep purr ran through kenma, and unlike when he was a child, he let it sound as loud and as long as it did naturally. soon, he could feel a softer rumble inside of him. the omega slid his hand over to the spot and tapped lightly. "good morning, akira."
kuroo placed his hand next to kenma's, trying to feel his baby's response. a shy tap came from inside the pregnant man, almost copying the pattern he'd tapped. kenma purred even louder and snuggled into kuroo, trying to bring the family as close as physically possible.
a stronger, quicker tapping came from the other side of kenma's belly, and he laughed, moving his hand over. "i'm sorry, tadashi. good morning to you as well."
the tapping stopped, and kenma eventually stopped purring, though he could feel the echo inside him continue for a while longer. kuroo kissed kenma on his forehead and twice on his belly before getting out of bed. kenma sat up but stayed where he was.
"hey, tetsurou?"
"what's up?" kuroo called from their bathroom.
"is the bag ready to go?"
the older's head popped out, a toothbrush held firmly between his teeth and cheeks. "bag? oh, that bag. yeah, why? shit, are they coming?"
kenma shook his head. "no, just a feeling."
"okay," kuroo responded uncertainly, "but tell me the second you start feeling any pain."
