He is named after named after Finn McCool because of his warrior spirit. He actually inspires us everyday Mac Cumhaill (otherwise known as Finn McCool) was a mythical hunter-warrior of Irish mythology. In the case of the Causeway legends, he is almost always made out to be a giant, or at least of extraordinary height. Dr. Hauschka Naturkosmetik: Natural Skin Care and Cosmetics for Face and Body Two principles that I work by in the makeup trailer and in my studio when it comes to Design and Application 1- KISS - A backronym for "keep it simple, stupid", is a design principle noted by the U.S. Navy in 1960. The KISS principle states that most systems work best if they are kept simple rather than made complicated; therefore, simplicity should be a key goal in design, and unnecessary complexity should be avoided. 2- OCCAM'S RAZOR -  The problem-solving principle that essentially states that "simpler solutions are more likely to be correct than complex ones." When presented with competing hypotheses to solve a problem, one should select the solution with the fewest assumptions. Alas, simplicity does not come easily and eludes many products and systems. Many of you know my love of dogs.... well.... all animals...When I was 11, one of my first creative projects while at school in Dublin ( Mount Anville) was making this stuffed animal. Of course I chose a dog... and for some reason that  I don't quite recall.... I chose a Dachshund I've moved around alot over the years, many different countries.. My beloved stuff animal vanished along the way.  Like... I haven't known where it was for over 40 years. In fact, I hear it has been attended to by a very well known stuffed animal hospital in England. Truth be told they care for all the Royals stuffed animals as well. Anyway, my little stuffed Dachshund has just been returned to me !! The amazing part of the story is that over the past years I've has three Dachshunds of my own ( pictured). They are amazing creatures and companions. They are all hound built into that tiny body. they are greatly disadvantaged by there short legs and long bodies yet you would never know it.
